Say he can afford the legal fees.
His best case scenario only plays out of he shuts up, right?

I could be wrong but I could swear I read that it was her father and it was only one time because her internet was out or something. If he's taken 1000 bucks from her bank account she must not have been broke.

The App trail makes sense to me. Or the inside of a gator. Doubt he was able to flee the country.

Krotz Springs. Boudin is great and cops only interested in giving speeding tickets.

With a head start and a stack of cash surely he could flee the country .

I definitely would try to change my appearance. I'd ditch the beard and a long haired wig can look realistic enough if you wear a cap with it.

If anyone had, say, $5,000 and a 5 day head start on authorities, where would you go ?

Yeah, but why did the dad have to buy them anything if she had as much as $1,000 in their account? Or did the dad wire them the $1,000 as well?

It’s odd that her internet would be out as she was online seemingly often via her Instagram. I may have it backwards but it’s probably safe to say both fathers/parents were giving them money to live on.
Never said she was broke just that she had little money. And as a ‘reserve’
She might of been counting on that remaining $1000 as ‘get home money’.
So is it possible he’s got ~ $1-2k in cash?

Right but if that $1,000 was “getting home money” what happened to the rest of the money they had budgeted for the trip? Assuming Laundrie wasn’t just arguing with the restaurant management for no good reason, why was he upset with the money situation?

Vegas, for one last hookers and blow trip before offing myself. But I don’t think like a murderer on the run

So, if she's dead at that point, her body is in the back of the van.
Have a hard time believing she was killed in the van or her dead body was ever in the van. Pretty sure they would have issued a warrant for his arrest after inspecting the van

That’s Another $64k question
It would be beneficial to know what was said between Brian, the waitress, another employee and the manager. But the manager claims to not even recall the incident

Even if it were strangulation? I suppose body decomp would be a tell-tale sign for the cadaver dogs, but suppose he disposed of the body before the decomp left any trace in the van.
Working on my theory that August 27 was the date of the murder (on August 29, he's hitchhiking 10 miles away, presumably, to set up some type of alibi), which is also the day of the Bethunes driving by, he would have had to have murdered her with some sort of privacy. 30 seconds before the Bethunes drive up, they pass another group of campers who would have heard screams if the murder was done outside.
Either that, or it happened on August 28 and the nearby campers were already gone or BL and GP had moved to another site farther away.
But thought the body was found proximate to the site site the Bethunes captured the van on the dash cam? Or am I mistaken?
