One of the stickers that was added to the back of the van was from Venice. Wonder if the Laundrie family made a stop there on their little camping adventure?

Has anyone else made a good “in a van, down by the river” joke yet?

No one has time to read through all of these posts.

Concerning the idea some have that he stole the van, per a sheriff's deputy in WI if you give someone permission to drive your car they will not consider it stolen even if you later claim it so.

May be different in other states.

No official arrest warrant has been issued. Formally, the police are searching for him as a missing person. (I think the parents filed a report.)

Let me ask Gabby if she gave him permission after he killed her.

Can’t homicide mean something other than murder?

Remember Ashley Babbit?

Autopsy said homicide.

Was called not a murder.

Wow, that's really unique.

At some point he had to use a vehicle. Whether be his parents or friend. I really doubt he would use a friend but for $$$$. There’s just absolutely no chance he’s in a swamp and they know that. They don’t know what to do. He’s running circles around FBI.

OK since we've run out of things to speculate about, this was on one of the threads on Reddit(yeah yeah I know)

This picture is suppose to be from the area where they found Gabby and the marks supposedly left by the investigators. Any ideas? Bulley holes? Reference points? Where they tethered the spaceship? Beatle infestation?

They were fighting? Or just him and the staff?

Petito appeared "visibly upset" with Laundrie

Someone in New Orleans looking for a little attention perhaps, because this . . . .

A manager at the restaurant told Fox News that the business is "super busy during summer" and couldn’t recall the incident.

Don't you think they would also be blow away by the fact the national news couple was in their restaurant causing a scene?

And then theres this . . . .
quote:

Jessica Schultz told the Chronicle that she got caught behind a slow-moving white van near Grand Teton National Park on August 26th. When she passed the van, she said she noticed a “generic” young white guy behind the wheel, alone in the vehicle. She said she saw the van on Aug. 26 with the man, who she now believes was Laundrie, inside. Schultz said she saw the white van again on the 27th and possibly the 28th without anybody else around it.

So if he was out in Spread Creek camping, and no one from the restaurant can make the connection, how can our new Orleans friends claim . . . .
quote:

They were out to lunch at Merry Piglets, a Tex-Mex restaurant, between 1 and 2 p.m. on Aug. 27

Seems like Gabby was gone on the 26th, and Laundrie was seen probably scouting a spot to dump her body, the day before the restaurant incident, that no one else seems to remember

After reading the last several pages to get caught up, I have a few points to make:

- Whether he technically "stole" the van or not matters none to the case as a whole, and should stop being a point that everyone is arguing about. They most likely bought and paid for it together and were both listed as drivers under their insurance and registration

- GP's official address is in North Point, FL. I know this for a fact. She had been living there and considered it her home address for at least a year.

- the body cam video still doesn't mean anything other than they had a volatile relationship. This has now been backed up by the fact that they had been seen in public arguing multiple times. That's all we need to take from it as far as this case is concerned, trying to make assumptions about their history of 'who was the abuser and abusee?' before that is unimportant. The way BL talks to police in the body cam video DOES NOT prove he is some kind of sociopath, we see that same attitude, behavior, mannerisms all the time from "normal" people.

- FBI are treating this like he is officially a suspect and are digging into everything the same as if they had a warrant. The fact that he is an official "missing person" has allowed them to dig much deeper and basically gives them the ability to look at all angles and pull all records. As of now they are still issuing alerts as if they believe he is alive and in the US.

- IF Brian is somehow still alive and on the run, it's highly likely he has a burner phone that cannot be traced to him or located and he's keeping up with the news. 99% of people that commit a crime and feel enough guilt or pressure over it would not disappear to kill themselves in a remote location. Most would do it where they can be easily discovered.

- The clamps are about to come down HARD on his parents. This is just a personal belief, but they are the key to cracking this wide open and if I know it, the FBI knows it. They will probably get an immunity deal for telling what they know, and they know more than they're telling. At this point it's becoming increasingly likely they aided in his disappearance.

There's still a chance it was a suicide pact he chickened out on, but I wouldn't think it too high.

Great great post and all reasonable and well thought out points.

You forgot one important fact though. BL is in Ocala.

I'm sure they have tracked every credit card used and lots of people are getting visits. If there is any truth to her story at all there should be multiple people to corroborate.
