Here's a forensic psychologist's take on the video.

So glad I just lurked this thread. What a ride.
News: Girl is missing, boyfriend leaves her out west and returns home in her van.
Incels: let him be.
News: BF not speaking to cops or girl's family
Incels: brilliant strategy. Would do the same if I was innocent.
News: BF runs away from home, now missing
Incels: just clearing his head baw. Would do the same if I was innocent.
News: video shows a toxic relationship
Incels: she's cleary a crazy bitch
News: body found
Incels: might not be her
News: it is
Incels: maybe an accident
News: it's homicide
Incels: well, like I said, let's wait for all the facts. Still no proof this poor guy did anything wrong.
This is what I gleaned after skipping around a bit.

Can all of ya’ll start a new domestic violence thread?
At this point it seems stupid to argue about it.
It’s literally the entire case of the murder

Can tell the guys that have never dated crazy.
can also tell the guys who don't understand stockholm syndrome and how the victim acts in a non rational way.
i bet profilers from the FBI who reviewed that video footage have a completely different take than 'what a crazy girl she is'.
Most are forgetting that we have the benefit of hindsight, we know she ends up dead sometime shortly after that interaction with the police and most likely Brian killed her. The police on the scene did not have this hindsight (obviously) and only had their statements to go on.
As an officer, you can't point to a person taking the blame for abusing their partner, especially while the partner is the one with the marks and scratches, and say "you're lying! You're covering for this guy, so we're taking him instead!" It doesn't work that way.
Yes, it's pretty clear she's having a mental breakdown at the time but that doesn't mean he's in her head causing it. Nobody knew this couple was anything out of the ordinary at the time, and they had no idea what would go on to happen.
Arguing about who is crazy and who isn't doesn't mean jack shite, as it had no bearing on anything - until it did. It's the "when it did" that investigators are now trying to work out, but it mattered ZILCH up to that point.
Maybe she was an aggressive abuser all through the relationship and he just sat and took it until he snapped and killed her. Maybe she had Stockholm syndrome the whole time and he was manipulative, physically and emotionally abusive their whole relationship. It literally matters none though, as people who have never shown signs of anything previously snap all the time and do crazy shite they never would've dreamed of.
Trying to psychoanalyze their history at this point is moot, we have no idea what happened to cause this or if it was a pattern or something that just happened once. We will most likely never know the answer to their history, the best we can hope for is learning what triggered the incident that caused her death.

That is one large assortment of straw men. Cold front starts tomorrow, baw.

I'm not saying BL wasn't abusive, I have no idea. I'd say the evidence points to GP having enough emotional instability that claiming BL was abusive at this point is would be extremely ignorant.
That is pretty much saying that he isn't abusive...in the very next sentence, no less. Nice job

I really didn't see anything in any of the videos that points to anything but some couple squabbling. Take out the death, and its nothing close to outrageous.
Really, nothing? Okay, while we're taking out that whole killing her part, should we take out the 911 calls from the witnesses to him slapping her?
fricking Hell.

Yeah and if he puts up a defense, this is going to be a major part of the defense.

Lets also point out that the parents waited 11 days to report her missing. I know abuse can be hidden, but if they had a history of it its likely the parents would have some clue of it and not let this go on so long without more accusations.
From all reports, GP's parents have not seemed to have a reason to distrust him that I've seen?

I knew you'd take that post personally. You're doing work in here, counselor.

hope you're never caught in a bad moment after a psycho just beat you up in a car and tell the cops whatever it takes to keep psycho from coming at you
If she wanted to keep him from coming at her, maybe she could tell the two big cops, with guns and badges, that he was just slapping her around, and she would like to press charges.
Then, she could have been the one driving her van back to FL to pick up her stuff, while the indigent hobo spoke to his public defender.

Yeah remove this situation from the murder and if that video gets posted but he gets arrested and you will have an uproar.

I used to come to this thread get news on the case. But over the last 250 pages it’s been a circle jerk for incels, white knights, fake internet tough guys, and a bunch of insecure turds trying to prove they’re right about completely unrelated arguments SMH

I posted legit summaries of things I read in this thread. It's a big thread, maybe we focused on different posts.
I also believe you're playing Devil's advocate for practice or something.
