i cant believe all the OT psychiatrists calling her a mental case from a single video where she was clearly distraught and something was seriously wrong
Yes, that’s actually disappointing - she a cute, young female who is crying - she must be crazy bc Ole baw is good with the police - no he’s a fricking manipulative dickhead that obviously came from douche bag parents - has no one ever dealt with DV or read about it before?

That's gotta be a shite place to camp right now when you can't even do anything fun. Shite I hope he has a fishing pole at least (joking).
Seriously, the lack of beer would suck to begin with. But add in the fact he can't make a fire without alerting anyone, can't really cook hot food, swampy hell, can't shower, and sweating his nuts off? Fricker should have started walking north a long time ago.

Sounds rough, probably not as bad as death though

Need to get Troy and Bruce down there in them swamp buggies, probably easier to find BL than those big snakes.

Can all of ya’ll start a new domestic violence thread?
At this point it seems stupid to argue about it. She is dead, they have indicated it is a homicide. Back when they were both just missing person’s, it actually seemed to have some relevance to the case as to who was crazy (both IMO), who was the abuser, etc. But now it just seems to be about winning an internet argument and rubbing your metaphorical nuts in the other persons’ face.

Yep, he's probably an abusive sociopath. A lot of people took too much stock in that video. Her behavior was consistent with emotional abuse. So, the video was conflicting to me and became meaningless.
I'm not claiming to be a body language expert or anything, but the water bottle exchanges with the cops said a lot. He kept politely declining(verbally), but the last couple of times someone asked, he looked at them like he wanted to kill them. But then he remembered that he was talking to a cop and not his girlfriend.

Apparently in your reality it's only ever the guy at fault.

No, because it happens everyday - plenty with the similar outcome of Gabby’s
Domestic violence is very relevant to this case.

Nope, didn’t even infer that in my statement.

911 call that he was beating the frick out of her

did the cops strip search her looking for injuries or are you just assuming?
GREAT NEWS SLOW! SHE'S GOT SOME INJURIES NOW YOU CAN SEE!
One second he's beating the frick out of her, next second "how is anyone supposed to tell anything happened"
And the call never said anything about "beating the frick" -- you're being way too hyperbolic and should probably calm down.

I don’t know, I’ve spent a night in the county jail, and I’ve spent a night primitive tent camping alongside a river in Alabama in September. There are pros and cons to each. It is a toss up.

Bruises? Not necessarily. I'm not talking about bruising. Slaps leave noticeable marks, especially on the face b/c of how vascular it is.

They could see her face/shoulders/arms/legs.

Great, so as F’d up as this thread is, we now get to deal with a Nancy Grace/John Walsh level domestic violence crusade from GreenRockTiger. Wonderful.

You understand that women kill their abusers often too right?
I'm not saying BL wasn't abusive, I have no idea. I'd say the evidence points to GP having enough emotional instability that claiming BL was abusive at this point is would be extremely ignorant.
I really didn't see anything in any of the videos that points to anything but some couple squabbling. Take out the death, and its nothing close to outrageous. The death sure makes him look abusive, but for all we know it was something completely new he killed her over.

Watch the video again. If you can't see that she is the victim of abuse in all of this, I honestly don't know what to say.
I've been involved in hundreds of domestic abuse cases. There was nothing to indicate that he was the abuser.
And before anyone tries to spin this, I grew up in a house of domestic abuse and was a victim of it my entire childhood, and I take it very seriously.

Lol - I won’t say anymore about it unless relevant - I was just replying to previous replies

That cop video is gonna save his life if he hasn’t killed himself. The seeds of defense are there.

to be fair, one of the officers DID say that she had some marks on her, too, but it was not included in the written report...
