Where are the HS classmates, friends, co-workers, etc. The only person we have heard from is that batshit crazy girl she met on the internet who decided they were "best friends" and then she appears to have ghosted that girl as soon as they left on their trip, which isn't surprising because she seems crazy and looks like a junkie.
They likely have no friends and, yes, this is all weird as hell.

It has been years since I have been out there. But I have made the drive from SLC to around where they were. I remember that coverage was very spotty once you got away from towns, which means the majority of the drive. Service may be better now. This was with Verizon.

Back when she was talking to the police (include the self diagnosed OCD here), she talked about how angry she got when he tracked sand into the van after she has so carefully cleaned the van of all the stuff on the floor.
That flip flops were left outside implies that she was still alive then.
If the dirt on the floor argument had re-erupted, had he pushed her too hard, etc., wouldn't his first act afterwards have been to track sand into that selfsame van?

The door definitely closes and your correct the second youtuber zoomed in to identify that as being the case.
And Those are his sandals at the back of the van because he is seen in the police video wearing those brown sandals.
We will never know but imho that was BL who slipped back in the van, closed the door and got out of view of approaching eyes.

it's been said on here that being on a dirt road if you heard vehicle activity you would close the door to prevent dust from getting inside. Being parked right there it's pretty obvious he's in view of a bunch of people nearby. I doubt she's dead yet at that moment

Every time I'm almost caught up with this thread, some big news hit and I'm way behind again..
I was at page 160 pushing for 170 and figured I'd catch up tonight. Then Bam, news hit during the day. Almost 100 pages behind again

But if you work together at the same place, like a grocery store, I would think people have witnessed them together before. Or even if they didn’t know they were together would maybe have insight on them as individuals. I’m sure reporters have been asking workers at Publix. Maybe they are just declining to comment.

I lost around 50 pages of updates today. I just did a brief scan of those pages and it's roughly 49 pages of the same posters making the same speculations from the previous 24 hours.
