Jesus Christ.

This isn't Facebook.

What would compel y'all to go at it for multiple pages about whatever stupid shite y'all are talking about?

Is the UK trying to say the kid is suffering and by moving him and continuing the care, that the suffering will continue or get worse?

That is the only argument I could see them having and its still a terrible one.

Yes, I believe that is the govermnent's argument. The problem is, now they have egg on their face, because as soon as they removed life support Alfie started responding to stimuli. And, now, after this revelation, that you would expect the gov to say "Awesome, we were wrong! Take him to Italy" they dug in their heel instead and continue to bar him from moving to Italy.

Agreed, and revised the OP to read "an emotional write-up"

Well look up your own goddamn article instead of incessantly bitching about the one the OP posted you lazy fricks. Jesus Christ

Medics have said Alfie's brain has been destroyed by his illness, and it is in his best interests to withdraw life support.

Sounds like while Alfie may be breathing, Alfie is virtually dead.

Your know-it-all personality is terrible.

1. I'm not grouchy...irl or on here.

2. If you say my wise arse persona sucks, fine. Have your opinion.

This. The U.K. and judge could remove themselves very easily from this now that Alfie is surviving on his own, they're choosing not to do so and won't let him leave. The fricking Pope sent a med-evac helo that's sitting right outside the hospital.

It should be. The writer is basically screaming in the name of an entire country. It's their story and they should get as emotionally pissed as they want to.

Reading through the Mirror article the utter indifference and arbitrary abuse of power reminds me of why we kicked England's arse out of here a few centuries ago. Sick fricks.
quote:

Alfie’s dad sought to prosecute three doctors over allegedly conspiring to murder his little boy, the court has heard.

Mr Diamond, representing Tom, said there were “tensions’, but that there was no “hostility’” against the NHS.

Lord Justice McFarlane told counsel: “Your client purported to take out a private prosecution to have three named doctors charged with the criminal offence of conspiracy to murder.

“Those summonses were served on the doctors and I hear you say that there is no hostility to the NHS.”

Mr Diamond replied: “There is no hostility but within that process there are tensions.”

Lord Justice Coulson said: “There are rather more than tensions.”

The accusation related to “the most serious possible offence”.

The judge went on: “That simply doesn’t square with there being no hostility to the NHS. As my children would say ‘end of”’.

WHO CARES?!? What does that have to do with anything??

quote:

“Judges are raising concerns after it has emerged #AlfieEvans mother and father are now being separately represented in court.”

Same thing.

I'll bet if Alfie was a damn Royal they'd be breaking their backs to get any treatment available for him.

Yes, there's a video of his dad talking to him and his eyes move back and forth following his dad's voice, his pupils dilate, and he blinks and is sucking on a pacifier.

the video was shot after they turned off his life support.

Unless you are a muzzle. Then you can cut your daughters head off in the street and they ignore it.

But if you dog raises its paw, it’s jail time for you!

Thought crimes are forbidden for actual Englishmen.
