unless something changed since this morning on my drive into work, they said they are releasing on Monday.

Someone was killed at the Embassy Suites on Shady Grove a couple of years ago my man. I would have preferred that to the Hampton. Anywhere that is remotely close to a 240 exit, and now 385, is no longer really safe

THIS RIGHT HERE. Back in the day if someone threw a punch the police knocked them upside their head once and things were over. Dude had a headache and a night in jail. Now they frick around and roll around on the ground with them until shite gets bad enough that someone gets choked or shot.
I blame cell phone cameras and Progressive politicians. Police really are in a no win situation.*

I've not heard anything other than they are investigating and there was a meeting between the city and the family on Monday.
The one cop I know said only thing he has heard are rumors echoing what you said. But he emphasized it was only rumors. They are keeping the lid on everything pretty tight.
