Speaking of the “war on drugs”, it didn’t start with Nixon. It started in 1914 with the passage of the Harrison Narcotics Tax Act. I’m case you’re wondering, the president at that time was Woodrow Wilson, a Democrat. And both the house and senate were controlled by Democrats.
The Harrison Act was then supplemented by the Uniform State Narcotic Drug Act of 1934. I’m case you’re wondering the president in 1934 was Franklin Delano Roosevelt, a Democrat. As for Congress, just as in 1914, Democrats controlled both the House and Senate.
I’d also suggest you study the Marihuana Tax Act of 1937. I’ll let you guess who controlled the White House and Congress then. In case you’re wondering, hers a hint...

Fair enough. White government led to the dissolution of the black family. White handouts led to generational reliance on the government. White policies led to the black ghettos that fostered crime and drug use and further crippling of the black community.
How about being responsible and accountable for ones self? You know, like humans.

As usual you completely missed the point while continuing to ignore the historical actions of the Republican party. And yes, the official terminology of the war on drugs began under Nixon. No matter how you try to spin it, the black community & black family structure have had to deal with detrimental legislation & actions by both political parties.

Burn it all down.
I have all the Marvel movies I need.
I have no interest in the new offerings.

Read very carefully:
It’s
Never
Going
To
Be
Enough.
There isn’t enough printed currency, gold or other precious metal or jewels, or assets, or actions or sacrifice or advantages or anything else to make race pandering terrorists happy. SO frick IT.

Because if you only can hire the Black people for the Black movie, are you saying they're not good enough when you have a mostly white cast?”
Yes, that's more or less what they are saying.

Luke Cage is Marvel. Most of the big guns behind the scenes were black. Anthony Mackie was not required in that movie because his character did not fit.
He is also not mentioning things that he knows to be true. Every person in a position of power has people that they prefer to hire to work under them. They have worked together in the past and will again in the future.
Color does not matter to these decision makers. Proficiency is everything.

We have the power and the ability to ask those questions.
Any director with some self-respect would show Anthony how little power he has by never casting him again. You get offered roles, pal.

So do you oppose BET discriminating against white people?
How does BET discriminate against white people? Are white actors & actresses banned from the network?
One could argue the need for the network now but it was formed at a time when it was more difficult for black actors & actresses to get into movies & television. HBCUs were formed due to segregation.
Same goes for Miss Black America. The need for those entities nowadays could also be questioned but there is also a traditional & historical factor that goes along with both.

It's never fricking enough...EVER. I wonder if Mackie realizes he has zero star power. Don Cheadle has star power but he doesn't.

I think marvel has done a pretty good job with diversity myself. Idk

Left out the most important line...
I think people are taking this the wrong way. I find Mackie to be pretty level headed and he is saying it is NOT right for the cast of Black Panther to be all black and it should have been more diverse. I also understand he is saying that more Black people should be involved in other Marvel productions if they are good enough to work on Black Panther.
I don't know why anyone cares, Black Panther sucked, the character is much more interesting than what was in the movie.

Mackie then concluded by declaring, "Hire the best person for the job. Even if it means we're going to get the best two women, we're going to get the best two men."
