Ming-na Wen has been a major part of Agents of Shield. That show had a Hispanic Ghost Rider.

As for Mackie’s complaining... well, Fox still had rights to the X-Men. Most of what was left were originally white Marvel SuperHeroes.

As for his other complaint, what’s the ratio of minority costume directors, stuntmen, etc, actually available in the poo, of creative and physical talents plus those applying and interested. Just questions to ask when this gets brought up.

In case you can’t figure out this chart, it shows that in the past 65 years Democrats have controlled the house all but 20 of them, including a 40 year uninterrupted span where the Democrats not only held the the house but they also controlled the Senate all but 6 years.

See, if you were really ready for open an open discussion yourself, you would mention the pitfalls of both parties. It's funny how people like yourself are quick to blame the Democratic party for all the issues in the black community while overlooking those brought about by the Republican party. There is a lot of truth what you said but if you were truly honest, you also bring forth the negative aspects of the Republican party as well. Instead you chose to overlook those aspects.

It was under the watch of a Democratic president, Harry Truman that the Housing Act of 1949 passed which basically created the inner city projects that we know today due to cheap, public housing. Yet it was a Republican president, Richard Nixon, who began the War on Drugs. Matter of fact, it was Nixon who created the The U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration along strict mandatory jail sentences for possession of drugs and led a harsh campaign against them.

In the 1980s, President Ronald Reagan borrowed from these laws and created similar mandatory sentences at a federal level and started pursuing drug users more fervently. On top of that you had the CIA teaching the Crips & Bloods in Los Angeles how to cook crack cocaine as well as supplying them with the cocaine.

Federal prosecutors ordered the letter and other case evidence sealed for “national security” reasons. When Senate investigators later asked the Justice Department to explain this unusual turn of events, they ran into a wall of secrecy.

The CIA, Contras, Gangs & Crack

You herd in a large population of people, making it easier to control via laws & socioeconomics them then throw strong narcotics like heroin & crack into those communities only to watch them self destruct.

The honest truth is, overall, there has never been an era in U.S. history that you can consider where there was a strong black family structure. This is by far the largest contributing factor as to the issues facing black communities nationwide. There are also several other factors but none bigger than this one.
