I think people are taking this the wrong way. I find Mackie to be pretty level headed and he is saying it is NOT right for the cast of Black Panther to be all black and it should have been more diverse. I also understand he is saying that more Black people should be involved in other Marvel productions if they are good enough to work on Black Panther.
That's how I'd like to take it, but that's giving a benefit of the doubt that I'm not sure is deserved in 2020

How come Hispanics and Asians aren't making a fuss? They make up 17% and 5% of the population yet I can't think of one Marvel character with their ethnicity.
Outside of hiphop and sports hispanics and Asians (all including from India) can come in and do better at school and life than blacks as a whole. Hollywood can't let them pass up blacks in film. I think actual immigrants from Africa pass up black Americans born here. It's not race or even all black Americans (but too many of those blacks cover for the others letting them claim victimhood), but the culture that has taken over black urban culture in America. Downfall of black family stared with LBJ's war on poverty and being used and kept dependent by the Democratic Party, and they keep asking for more govt while protesting it at same time.

Anthony Mackie
Didn’t he and Matt Moscana get into a catfight at the SEC championship game?

Why aren’t there more American born white dudes in the NBA?

All the while you completely ignore the historical actions of LBJ and the effect it had on the nuclear black family.
Negative. Try again. I'm very aware of the actions of LBJ & the effects it had on had the black community. Unlike yourself, I don't blindly support any political party. I personally don't give a frick about either party & the majority of politicians aren't trustworthy to begin with. The majority of them run their campaigns on certain issues yet when they get into office, they are either pushovers or completely forget about the people who elected them & the issues that got them elected.

It's funny how people like yourself are quick to blame the Democratic party for the issues in the black community while overlooking those brought about by the Republican party. There is a lot of truth what you said but if you were truly honest, you also bring forth the negative aspects of the Republican party as well. Instead you chose to overlook those aspects.

It was under the watch of a Democratic president, Harry Truman that the Housing Act of 1949 passed which basically created the inner city projects that we know today due to cheap, public housing.

No matter how you try to spin it, the black community & black family structure have had to deal with detrimental legislation & actions by both political parties.

Do you blindly support RINOs as well being that they are Republicans you know.

I don't know why anyone cares, Black Panther sucked, the character is much more interesting than what was in the movie.
I agree. Hes not demanding more black people. He simply calling out and obvious hypocrisy. Black panther was a good movie and if all the people involved were black...isnt that a sign of competence to be hired for other movies?
Ultimately the problem is actually Hollywood itself and the massive amount of nepotism. Despite all the woke white Hollywood morons constant pandering, not a single one of those frickers would give up a major role to a POC. Make no mistake they will draw a line.
Look up any major Hollywood figure, they have extensive family connections in the business.

Easy to blame whitey, isn’t it?
So Karl Marx, the Clintons, the Bush's, Dick Cheney, George Soros, Franklin Roosevelt, LBJ, Harry Truman, Jimmy Carter, Bill Gates, etc are considered not white?

And who controls Hollywood Mr. Mackey? Wake up ... it’s all the same people that control the Democrats. They only use the black vote when it suits them.

This is too much common sense for the OT.

Black Panther, which was the first ever MCU blockbuster to earn a Best Picture nomination.
I finally got around to watching it. It was laughably bad. And the CGI looked like it was done on a Commodore.
