How come Hispanics and Asians aren't making a fuss? They make up 17% and 5% of the population yet I can't think of one Marvel character with their ethnicity.

It really bothered me that I've done seven Marvel movies where every producer, every director, every stunt person, every costume designer, every PA, every single person has been black.
So much for not seeing color but the actual person ...
Damn he is ate up with the racism...

For people who take pride in their work, being hired solely because of their skin color brings about very real frustration

But then when you do Black Panther, you have a Black director, Black producer, you have a Black costume designer, you have a Black stunt choreographer. And I'm like, that's more racist than anything else. Because if you only can hire the Black people for the Black movie, are you saying they're not good enough when you have a mostly white cast?”
He will be obliterated and black balled for not falling in line lock step.
Isn’t this what they want? I’m confused.

Wait, so they have an all black movie (which they approve of) but they also want an all black white movie? I'm confused.
You needed that meme of the guy wiping sweat off his brow and debating on pushing either of the 2 buttons

Dafuq is wrong with black panther?
All of the other movies hire white people for big positions behind the camera. Black panther hired all black people for major positions behind the camera, so it makes all those previous hirings cool and okay
marvel studios throwing the black community a bone with black panther does not take away from their hiring practices behind the camera on all of their other films in the franchise
I don't understand why this is so difficult for people to understand

I have a very very hard time believing every single person behind the scenes of every marvel movie was white until black panther

Going to semantics this early never helps an argument. You get the idea of Mackie's point.

Fair enough. White government led to the dissolution of the black family. White handouts led to generational reliance on the government. White policies led to the black ghettos that fostered crime and drug use and further crippling of the black community.
Wrong. Let’s deal in facts here. That’s the only way to have a constructive conversation.
Democrat government led to the dissolution of the black family. Democrat handouts led to generational reliance on government. Democrat policies led to the black ghettos that fostered crime and drugs and further crippling of the black community.
And yet despite all this Democrats can always rely on roughly 90% of three black vote.

I think he’s just mad about that time he got punked by Moscona.

And your precious elephants did nothing to change it under Reagan or under Bush or under Bush again or under Trump. That is nearly twenty-five years since 1980. Right there, your political argument falls apart.

Imagine if the average white person was as racist as Anthony Mackie.
What a piece of shite.
Probably, but I think he might be pointing out the hypocrisy of Hollywood.
He never saw a black person on the crew of any of his MCU movies, then suddenly there is Black Panther full of black crew members.
There were obviously qualified people that could have been hired on some of the other Marvel movies.
I enjoy the Left eating their own, and I’m reserving judgment on Anthony Mackie for now. His comments definitely have racist undertones, but they are directed at limousine liberals in Hollywood.

You are right. I will withhold judgment for now.
