Do you have any idea how the date for Shrove Tuesday is set? Apparently you don't.

Are most people aware of how Easter and Mardi Gras have their date every year?

NOLA needs to really rethink having Mardi Gras so late.

Please don't ever make another post regarding Mardi Gras ever again. You obviously have no idea what you are talking about.

How old are you? Did you go to school on a very short bus?

It’s not a “what time of year do you want have parades roll”.

Even if they don’t, you have to know Mardi Gras correlates with the beginning of lent…which correlates with Easter. New Orleans doesn’t just unilaterally “schedule” Mardi Gras.

This isn't about Easter. Just Mardi Gras
Mardi Gras has always been about Easter. It starts on Fat Tuesday, which is the day before Ash Wednesday, the start of Lent, which is the preparation for Easter,.which coincides with the Paschal full moon.
IOW, you can't do a damn thing about when Mardi Gras is year-to-year.

You didn't give me enough notice for next year but I made the call and we can accommodate your request for 2027.

For your sake I hope you are just having fun and trolling. If not you are in for a very rough life.

Connection? Truly, you morons are getting fricked up and have no clue why. Hey, can we move Jesus' birthday, its way too cold during Christmas...
