UNO/LSUNO has blamed everyone outside of their universe for their issues.
At 1st it was all the LSU system that caused their troubles. They celebrated when they went to the ULL system.
Now it the ULL system screwing them.
I drove on their campus recently and it looked like a ghost town.
Delgado has passed them.
They really need new a completely new leadership team.

It’s been hilarious reading the internet warrior UNO alums beg for this to not happen. I seriously doubt they contribute to the university or attend sporting events in support.

Suddenly they dust off their pirate gear and are in despair.

and while they are at it - merge Southern with LSU in Baton Rouge

It looks like that has already been done.

What?? Why would you put a limit on success? What you’re basically saying is I don’t want it to be better than mediocre.
let’s get it up to “mediocre”, then we can talk again

and WHEN they don't get the "boom in enrollment", the LSU system is responsible for funding the net loss??

another savvy move by team Landry and USL cronies

I don’t have an issue with having as many campuses to give students access to a quality college education, but where the more schools becomes a problem is in administrative staffs.

I do, we need to close probably half of the 4 year universities in the state.

I hope this is sarcasm, drunkenness or you really have lost your mind
it’s only fair to merge LSU & SU if you’re going to merge UNO with SUNO

Plus I have two at LSU, they wouldn’t notice the difference anyway.

Wishful thinking.

Even Landry won't touch that.

More money should go to tell Delgado-like institutions

Peak enrollment was immediately prior to Katrina.

Was hard to find a place to park on campus.

The school has always been neglected. It needs major investment in its physical campus. It should have a congruent French architecture, but it is too late for that. So many opportunities missed…

Absolutely not. It’s already taken a down turn as is.

I am an UNO alum that thought UNO never should’ve left the LSU system - they weren’t given much of a choice but leaving should’ve never been put on the table

Stupid politicians that have no business messing with education

Yes I know, I had one graduate from LSU in May and I have two there now. My younger kids are NOT going to LSU.

That’s a shame, too. I hope they can fix this.

More reason that Rousse is a puppet on a string…. How could he make that decision in 1 day on the job without someone telling him what to do? That’s too big of a move for someone not to tell him to do it

Oh he’s definetly a Huey Landry puppet, but this was put into motion a while ago
