What are we going to do y'all?

Half of America seems wants to keep working and act like this Virus is no big deal, or media created, or related to the election.

The other half seems to want to take measures like shutting stuff down, shelter in place, and seems to think we need to take major measures to stop this thing no matter the effect to our economy.

I'm sure alot fall in between like myslef.

But I know one thing. We cant keep going like this.

Many have already lost their jobs. You may not have yet, but every job is dependent on money coming in from others in some form or fashion.

Without a vaccine, cure, or united stance to just let it go freely and do its thing I fear it will tear our country apart.

I know the OT is for jokes, laughs, and poking fun. But this situation is not funny to me anymore.

The OT told me everyone can work from home a week ago. I don’t know what your problem is.

Do both like most everyone is doing. Don’t act like half is going one way.

The problem is with the media hyping this shite up like it’s the Bubonic plague and causing mass hysteria among the American people.

The Coronavirus is just like any other virus, it jumps from host to host. If you’re sick go to the doctor and stay home. No reason to shut the whole fricking country down

The media (using Italy’s shortcomings) has successfully hypnotized a large majority of our population into thinking this virus WILL kill their loved ones. It’s truly sad that they can’t present facts in a calculated manner but that’s no bueno for ratings. Flashing pictures of the virus itself and plastering “QUARANTINE” and biohazard signs all over the screen and showing number of death tickers get ratings.

If the media tells Americans for a decade or more that everything is an existential crisis but life just continues as normal, why should we be surprised when half the country or more becomes skeptical and/or cynical ? If everything is an outrage or an emergency, than nothing is an outrage or an emergency. Because Truth has been devalued. Basic human nature. The cure is jettisoning Outrage Culture for Truth Culture.

I hope everyone telling me to stay home catches it and dies so I don't have to put up with their shite anymore.

By 2-3 weeks, our economy is shot even more to hell.

Continuing the same course we are on will result in us falling.

Humans have an intimacy to pick sides and be divided...unless there’s an external threat.

I got a reality check this weekend. Talked to a guy who has seen this first hand. We need to get more serious about this or we are going to end up in a bad spot with the majority of the population infected

I think the LA/TX area is still about 1-2 weeks from peaking
