- I don’t know if it’s a saying from the small Cajun town my parents are from but I never hear many other families say it. If you’re outside and someone pulls up to shoot the shite for a sec… We say, “y’all get down & visit a min.” I never hear any friends say that around BR & mine still laugh at me for saying y’all get down.
