Um, a different health insurance provider?

Or cash pay, or borrow the money, or go to another country for the care you need…

Nah, let’s just start putting bullets in CEOs when companies don’t do what we want them to do.

I put together a helpful decision tree.

Ok, laugh all you want, but someone gave the shooter info on his exact movements. With the DOJ investigation going on, someone within the company isn’t far-fetched.

Smells like a hit job made to look like a clumsy random. The people on their board unloaded a lot of overvalued stock with insider knowledge of the forthcoming price drops. CEO was a shade ball. Probably a lot of skeletons in a lot of places around that board room. CEO may have been cutting a deal.

Be a very convenient time for a lot of people if homie were to be killed by a disgruntled family member of a patient with an axe to grind.

His death can be a tragedy, and his company be an unholy cesspool of corruption at the same time. The blame doesn't fall squarely on the company's shoulders either, our Congress getting in bed with these health insurance companies only benefits them, not the public.

’m surprised he has made it this long without getting caught. My guess is he fled NYC

The fact he left Central Park and headed up 77th to the Port Authority says he got on another bus and left town. He’s had probably 36 hours head start, guessing that’s not enough time and they are on his tail. Guessing he is caught this weekend or Monday morning

I would have headed straight to JFK and be on the first flight out to Moscow. He had plenty of time if they really don’t know who it was. I have a feeling they know and aren’t releasing the name yet

I'm sure it's been talked about in here, but I haven't read the thread. Did the wife have it done?

Agree. They know who he is at this point. Just trying to downplay what they let out as they track his movements and hoping the public spot him. They know exactly who he is at this point.

This guy isn’t going to be caught easily. He ditched the backpack and they’ve yet to find it. He probably had an elaborate way to blend in with a crowd or disappear not in the sight of a camera.

Yea. He went straight to Central Park because he knew there aren’t a lot of cameras. It’s quite possible that he changed clothes, filled his back pack with rocks, then threw it in one of the lakes and walked out like normal. I also wouldn’t be surprised if there was someone waiting for him in the park or near the park.

Right, because those are all completely realistic options for the average American.

It's fricking pathetic that one shitbag CEO is getting this much attention when Americans die every day because of what shitbag CEO's do.

Just saw that they also announced a bit ago that he boarded an interstate bus up at 178th street.

and he took a cab in at least a partial leg of that trip.

I'm guessing by the time he dropped the backpack in the water he was cold as hell and the adrenaline was wearing off hence the cab.

While the cab probably didn't change anything forensically (can you imagine the DNA results from a NYC cab?) it at least confirms he didn't have help, at least in the exit strategy (possibly in the stalking phase however).

And it pointed them straight to the Port Authority. Which is a very tightly controlled area. After he exits that bus, all bets are off. But to even step foot on it your picture was taken and that fake ID (known from the Hostel) will be correlated. They know where he went now.

They will correlate that with the other lists and the noose will tighten because those lists will be much smaller to a geographical area now.

I think the fake ID is going to lead them to his real name and then (assuming he traveled across state lines) HRT and Marshalls will have him very soon after. If they release the fake ID name and someone made it for him then they will rat because they will be found soon. More likely, he faked documents at a DMV and got the ID (illegals do it everyday), hence they aren't releasing it but having the various DMV databases scoured to see where he got it made. When you have the bus destination and the DMV location, knowing that he probably used the same DMV for his true ID, they will have him just by comparing pictures.

I mean, if he’s the CEO and he’s aware of the shady shite going on, I’d consider it less of a tragedy. If a POS is murdered, I’m not very sympathetic.

But who knows if this guy was scum. I’m not going to pass judgement.

In theory, this is great. But then you have to start your life over in fricking Russia. I don’t see it being a temporary hideout.

He presided over a company that, while legal, was in the business of making as much money as it could while doing the least possible for its customers, in the process causing suffering and death. That pretty much makes him scum in my book.

That doesn't make it right that he was murdered. At the same time, I'm not losing a whole lot of sleep over it.

even in theory it is a bad idea. Take it from someone who has spent time in shithole countries and non-shithole places like Russia and China.

Their borders are much more secure. And if they get a whiff, just a whiff, of you being on the run from the USA they will scoop you up (you don't have the same legal protections either) and trade you in a heartbeat.

It's a good way to spend 5 years in a foreign hellhole and then the rest of your life in a slightly lesser hellish hole in PA or CO.
