You aren't a good troll. Maybe one day you'll be on Tulane and Guacho's level. But it is not this day

Nitrous oxide, commonly referred to as whippets, acts on nitric oxide (NO) receptors, inducing smooth muscle relaxation and hypotension1. The use of nitrous oxide as a recreational drug became popular in the 1970s, particularly within the gay community and during the sexual liberation movement1.

I’m calling exaggeration. Nobody is giving their 6th grader hard liquor and other booze in public.

Same.

In a previous post, it was 14 year olds drinking handles of liquor. Then 12 year olds drinking Twisted Tea. Eventually, we will get to the 4 year olds putting Bailey's in their chocolate milk.

it’s embarrassing to see moms handing their 12 year olds Twisted Teas and sending them away from their tent

Dude, stop being so judgmental without knowing the full story. My wife was trying to have an adult discussion with her friends, and it wasn’t appropriate for my young boy to hear. She did what she had to do to get him to go away.

It’s crazy the parents that let their 16 year olds drink alcohol. Went to the South Carolina/LSU game this year and had tickets in the Zone where you can store you own alcohol and brought my son - a bunch of his classmates were there with their parents mixing drinks for themselves. I can’t imagine doing that.

If you live south of Alexandria, odds are that you are an alcoholic. You will only find God’s people along the I20 corridor in Louisiana.

Gotta love the OT. Adults getting tattoos is the “trashiest” thing ever, but parents buying their kids one of the most addictive substances is a-okay.

I mean, this is the board where drunk driving is more or less an accepted way of life also and where the #1 thread is a gossip thread about some college girl being accused of having sex with her boyfriends dad. The website isn’t exactly the definition of class.

I plan on letting my daughter have drinks at family events when she gets to high school. I feel the greater risk is sending her to college not knowing how to handle liquor.

It’s interesting that you think people drinking Twisted Teas under a Mardi Gras parade tailgate tent overlap with New Orleans old money.

Go to Claiborne (I-10) and Canal for your next parade and report back.
