I don't care AT ALL about the "Acadiana" flag. However, this thread is nothing more than pure melt from the flag baws who are evidently dedicated to political tokens from the 1970s as if it were their 1st born.. It's curious that you have managed to project that melt onto me.

I can’t stand the “Acadiana” flag. It is a made up region that is exaggerated. When I see parishes like Calcasieu, Ascension, Iberville, WBR, and Avoyelles included I laugh.

Yes I get that culture is very important to many people but when you basically put your made up region above the actual state you reside in, I don’t like that. These people think they’re above the rest of the state because they come from this “acadiana” region. It’s a very broad term and the fact that it’s in the legislature tells you exactly how screwed up LA is as a state.
