Not really that rare. I know several conservative fans. I'm one myself. I've stopped really following them because i haven't been a fan of their music lately and was also disappointed in their pro Hillary commentary during the election. They had been more activist for political ideas than politicians. That seemed to have change recently.

He's made his wealth from capitalist societies. I am guessing he is just screwed up in the head.
Either that or he sees it as a hip and edgy way to market himself to the Che Guevara t-shirt wearing crowd who aren't bright enough to peg him as the phony has-been he is.

If you didn't see them on this tour, you'd have enjoyed it. It focused primarily on Joshua Tree (played in it's entirety) and before. There was some post-Joshua Tree stuff, but not nearly as much.

Leave U2 concert early because it was too "political"...run home to call Libs "snowflakes" on the Poli Board.

Same here. I saw them in Houston this year and while that concert was very good, the New Orleans show was better. A good omission from the NOLA show was the Miss Sarajevo bit which was just propaganda for Syrian refugees.
Also, U2 ending with I Will Follow was spectacular.

You just nailed why I can't stand 90% of the entertainment industry and fricksticks like Michael Moore.

Bono and The Edge were having dinner at a restaurant in the Marigny neighborhood of New Orleans last night called Bacchanal... Friend of mine had a bday party there and, while i couldnt make it, she posted the pics online.. Sorry, I'm new here and havent figured out the pic posting process or I'd post them.. in any case, i wonder if the real reason they canceled in St Louis tonite is 'cause theyre hung over? :-)

I am starting to hate this word. The overuse of it is too much.

Nope, shitheads are going to be down there, and would of sat outside protesting at the Dome for concert. Cops told Dome they don't have the man power to deal with shitheads and give them peeps for traffic and security.
Their plan is to spread cops out and make them follow groups, instead of 1 large group.

So you're saying the people you know paid money for a U2 concert and had no idea that the lyrics of U2 songs are political in nature and they didn't know that Bono is a political activist.
That's like going to a Trump rally and leaving mad because Trump said mean things about people.

I hate it also. It was used as sarcasm.

Complaining about paying good money and getting shite you didn't pay for is not "being a snowflake".
I have some stuff I would like to sell you, since I know you won't complain because you are not a "snowflake".

Nice.
And U2 has always sucked.

I thought U2 was the choice music of the BLM movement and SJW's?

I call bullshite on people leaving early.

Look, I hate agenda pushing as much as the next guy, but if this was how your friends really felt, they're either retarded or way too thin-skinned. Or your story is bullshite. I fully expected it to be polarizing and over the top, and it was neither.

10 years ago I would have told you this would me my dream concert (I was too young to see them on that tour and first saw them on the Achtung Baby tour).
Guess I've become too cynical in my old age.
