Which is it?

Wrong. He has rights and cooperated by pulling over and handing his ID. He even said, write my tickets. There wasn’t a reason to pull him out and the cop should have took the ID to his unit and proceeded. Now if there was more after the license was ran and he didn’t cooperate then I could see it escalating. Cops are public servants and respect isn’t required, but certainly helps.

Didn’t read the whole thread but has the entire video been released or just the “call Drew” version?

Every one of those cops should be fired.

Wow I actually agree with you on something.

Those cops need attitude adjustments.

ZERO excuse to act like that, especially when they have numbers.

You wonder why:

1). People hate cops
2). No one wants to be a cop

Tyreek is an a-hole 100%, but that’s no excuse for the extremely unprofessional power trip these cops go on.

Here is the problem. There are people who genuinely believe it's ALWAYS race. It is not. I am quite certain we could start another thread just for the White baws, and you would have infinite tales of cops mistreating the White man with ego-infused power trips. This shite is and has always been an issue with LE, regardless of race. And I speak from personal experience as a whitey. It is only newsworthy when the dumbass cops abuse a black man's rights.

They knew exaclty who he was and the cop was trying to get his rocks off. Sure he should’ve listened but cops didn’t need to act like that either

Or once they knew who he was they knew he has a history of run ins with the law, some of which were due to violence.

Cop was not "banging on window like he crazy".

Once he rolled the window up essentially shutting off communication and the cops couldn't see inside the car through dark windows they really have no idea what it is going on at that point.

Cop physically pulled him out of the car, but did not slam him on ground at all.
After in cuffs cop aggressively walked up to Hill to make him sit on curb, but similar to when they put him on ground it actually did not appear to be rough.

Good on teammate to top and check on your guy, but terrible on the phone with the agent saying "the cops beating on Tyreek man" just shows how quickly a details of a story get thrown out the window and how narratives get set.

Was he actually arrested or just temporarily detained on the road?

TL;DR
Hill was pulled over for a traffic violation.
Hill did not comply by not rolling his window down because he was calling agent.
Hill then rolls window down briefly, tells cop to stop "banging" on his window, but rolls it back up while they are trying to talk to him.
Mistakes 1, 2 , & 3 on Hill to start is what lead to outcome.
Nobody was hurt
Cops are not always right, but I find it hard to say they were wrong here.

fricking hate you guys so much!!! But I’m on your side!!

I'm definitely not on their side. Like I said I really don't like most cops. However I understand their job has a purpose in society. I also understand why they are assholes (moreso than average). And if I get pulled over I will most definitely roll the damn window down and comply with the officer because I know he's likely to be an a-hole. It's not schizophrenia, it's logic. You should try it.

If he was speeding like they claim, I am surprised he wasn't taken to jail regardless of the other stuff.

It's both.

Cop didn't have him on radar. So he would not be able to prove it. But if you watch the video it's evident.

He was a dick and got the dick treatment. Oh well

Don’t think its possible that someone high up in the Dolphins organization has the political connections to make a phone call that prevented Tyreek from going to jail and missing the game?

If you support the cops in ANY individual situation, you’re a bootlicker. I feel like the same can be said for people who idolize athletes and entertainers. Hill had a track record of being a POS, so he doesn’t get my sympathy.

In my 38 years on earth, I’ve been pulled over maybe 4 times and never had a bad interaction with a cop, because I’m not a dick. I’ve encountered a couple of cops on power trips in public, but I move on and go about my business. It’s not that hard to be a civilized human being.

Agreed. bUt ItS tYrEeK’s rIgHt tO bE a DiCk.

Yes, it is. He has the right to be a dick to everyone he encounters in all walks of life. That will mostly lead to unpleasant interactions. If he doesn’t like why he was pulled over, then fix it in court with your agent. He has privilege for being an athlete anyway.
