All of these petty tyrants like that judge, the Michigan mayor, or that shitheaded communist groundhog killer in New York that have revealed themselves in all this should be expelled when this is all done.

Again, county judge and court judge aren't the same. The judge referred to in this thread is a court judge. That Houston judge you're talking about it a county judge.

I guess my question here is what would be those less restrictive means? The lady said on camera that she wasn't going to pay the fine and she wasn't going to comply with the order to remain closed. Jailing is a super harsh punishment, but I don't really see what option the county judge had.

Wish Bill Barr would step in and perhaps get a higher court to vacate the ruling.
Really wish business owners would sue the shite out of the states and governors for all of these actions.

greg abbot also once legitimately defended a ban on sex toys in the state of texas because the state had a vested interest in discouraging "pureient interests" in sex that wouldn't lead to procreation

There's one way that would guarantee her release or better yet she would not have ever been sentenced had she met this criteria.
