i work with an advocacy group for professionals that are impaired. saw a presentation where almost the same percentage of the population irrespective of subsets have impairment issues (all causes); vets generally come out of vet school with huge debt (just as much as MDs) but much lower compensation rates. They do have access to opiates and addictive medications, work long hours. She worked at a specialty hospital, too, Not letting her off the hook and of course i have no clue why she did that--but it is horrible for her family and the families of those poor officers. sucks.

I have seen FB comments from some who live in BSL that a woman who recently took up residence at that hotel was posting some crazy rants on FB in local groups. No idea if it's the same person but perhaps a situation of stress due to period of unrest with housing situation and either 1) Off prescribed meds or 2) On meds not prescribed by any psych. but presumably easy to access for her.

It's like the same thread over and over when a white person kills another white person. If the race of the perpetrator isn't immediately known Page 1 and 2 usually consist of ghetto and hoodrat posts until the realization that it was a white person. The "animals" comments are replaced by the gradual questioning of what went wrong and what a tragedy for all involved. Never change OT.

43 had no record. Kid with her.
Police say they are going to call CPS and she kills them. Then herself and in the end her kid STILL goes to CPS and 3 people are dead. It makes no sense.

I knew a nurse who did really well. Then became a travel nurse and got into stuff she shouldn't have. Now she's a waitress.
Sad how drugs can take over someone's life.
By all accounts the officers were very cordial with her for a half hour.
Such a shame. It sounds like she surprised them after they thought she wasn't a threat.
