How is it different? It's just micro evolution over a period of hundreds of millions of years.

A wolf and coyote descending from a common ancestor is clearly evolution, and further, the kinds explanation leaves only a few thousand years to evolve. It's hyper-evolution. Yet these same folks very often don't believe in evolution so I'm curious what mechanism leads to the diverse number of species on earth from a few 'kinds.'

The timeline matters though

Like how long did it take to go from the ancestor to cows, elk, and moose?

I ran it through AI

quote:

Genetic and phylogenetic studies estimate that the deer family (Cervidae) and the cattle/bovine family (Bovidae) diverged from a common ruminant ancestor approximately 25 to 30 million years ago during the late Oligocene or early Miocene epoch.

Abiogenesis has nothing to do with the question I asked. I can grant you, for the sake of argument, that God personally created every original “kind.” Fine. They’re alive and standing on the Ark.

Now explain how those relatively few “kinds” became wolves, coyotes, jackals, foxes, domestic dogs, etc. in only a few thousand years without evolution.
Abiogenesis concerns the origin of life. I’m asking about the diversification of already-living organisms.

Take your time.

The Catholic church does not deny biological evolution, nor does it require the literal belief in the story of Noah and the new covenant.

I can't speak for the snake handlers and their manmade interpretation of Christianity.

Irrelevant.
How long would it take to go from the ancestor rat-sized fossorials "to cows, elk, and moose" .... and australopithecus?

It's relevant to the people making the "kind" argument

The point is that it's a bad argument

Because there is 0 evidence of 2-celled organisms. There is no evidence of single-celled organisms becoming multi-celled organisms. We just assume and mock anyone for asking why we just assume that process happened.

Grant me that the "Entire World" for people living ~10K BC did not include the entire planet, and we can have a converstion.

I've already been 'mocked' by 4 or 5 posters just for asking the questions so that goes both directions.

I don't think OP's personal opinion/belief would reject this

You’re being mocked for not understanding the debate, not for believing in evolution. This post I’m responding to is even more support that you’re either pretending to not understand the debate or just being too dumb to have this debate.

Rats and rags..... if we're going in full medieval.

I'm not sure we can have a conversation as salty as you are after the last one, but I'll try.

If by "the entire world" you mean the entire world as understood by the people describing the event, rather than literally the whole planet, then you're arguing for a regional flood. That's a completely different claim from the young-earth/global-flood position I'm asking about.

And if that's your position, then my question about fitting representatives of every land-animal "kind" on the Ark doesn't apply to you. Noah would only need animals from whatever region was supposedly flooded.

My question is specifically for people who believe the Flood covered the entire planet, that all terrestrial animal life outside the Ark died, and that Noah carried only a relatively small number of "kinds."

You've made clear several times that isn't you so I'm not sure what you want to talk about. Start a regional flood thread and we can discuss it there.

Multicellularity has evolved independently over 20 times. I have absolutely no idea what the lack of an exactly two celled organism proves.
