It's a shame that we are assured of being outnumbered at the meeting because those in opposition of the COA are employed while the majority of their supporters are not.

BTW, I spoke to someone last night who said the Councilwoman threw that "Chief Dabadie to report" on the Agenda without notifying him. He is currently out of town and not expected to be there. Will be interesting to see if he drops his business trip and comes back for this.
Not attending = insubordination = grounds to fire him???

I wonder if the Council is going to discuss how thousands of dollars of federal money designed to help the poor was used for a bicycle path to L'auberge Casino?

He won't be there. Someone from the department will be there in his place if they even get to the item. This happens all the time. Council places item on the agenda and inevitably they're calling for a lackey from the city-parish staff to answer the question.

What would really kick the meeting up a notch is if Chockwewe Lamumba showed up in solidarity.
