Check out ECOXGEAR. I purchased one and love it. Same sound and quality, but about $150 cheaper.

Exactly. That's sort of how I feel about them. I have buddies that have them and LOVE them, but I've seen plenty of cheap speakers work just fine. I also don't need the whole world hearing my music when I'm outdoors. But I'm also considerate of people around me.

Great, now even more people can have them blasting music at the beach.

By the way, they sound like shite unless you are directly facing them.

I bought this Chinese bastard from Costco 2 years ago for $80, it's plenty loud enough, gets treated like shite in Grand Isle, and has still kept on kicking getting used just about every weekend. Apparently you can pair them together, I bought my in-laws one but we've never bothered to try it. Looks like they're $70 now, I've seen them listed for $60 in the store before. 10/10

I had a different model ION that stopped taking a charge after about a year of light to moderate use.

I bought a new gen 3 recently and love it. Was going to put a sound system in my back yard but just the turtle box instead and it’s plenty loud for what I need.

Thinking of putting this in the side by side rather than a dedicated speaker system. Would the ranger work or do you need the bigger one?

I cannot stand people who think the golf course or the beach is their personal music studio. Rude AF. How is this any different than people talking on speaker phone in public?

Any thoughts from current owners?

Been having one for a few years now, would highly recommend. I have a Gen 2 that can only connect with one other Gen 2, but the Gen3s can connect to all three sizes.

I bring mine to the beach, hose it out, and let it dry. Sound quality isn’t the best but it’s better than average. These things are loud AF too.

I don’t need a second one but have to talk myself out of buying another.

ETA Cocomo, I only play it loud enough for my group to hear. Don’t need it blasting in the tent so I can hear it in the surf. I bring it out to the waters edge or in a sand bar.

I have not tried the smaller one but the mid sized works great for a sxs speaker. Use mine for all my rides.

Id rather spend that amount versus $3-5k to upgrade boat speakers.

This is how I know you are not serious boating.

Upgrade that Marine system baw. Never look back

Built one of these for $160. Waterproof. Floats. Runs off of a 20v Dewalt battery, will run for 36 hours. 160 watts. Can also link multiple ones together if you want to build more than one.

Louder than any Turtlebox I've ever heard.

It’s the Yeti of outdoor speakers, every baw should own one.

Do they come with stickers? Asking for a friend.
