If EBT doesn’t start up soon, Walmart will be giving turkeys away.

I was at Harris Teeter Friday and the most expensive turkey they had was some organic free range nonsense for $1.29/lb. The rest were $.84-.99 a lb.

Bought 3 fresh turkey breastS at the HEB over the weekend. Plan on trying the viral smoke and Texas Roadhouse butter trick on at least one of them.

I don't care about Turkey. Give me a good ole Pot Roast (Beef or Pork) with Rice and Gravy and tons of my wife's amazing Potato Salad.

Then top it off with a slice of her Lemon meringue pie. Oh yeah!!

The Winn-Dixie store sales ad just hit my in-box and they are selling frozen turkeys for $.49 a lb. and it includes all turkeys except Butterballs. This price is good with an additional $20 purchase of other groceries------and that is an easy number to hit in any store.

$.84/lb at HEB on Saturday. Discount taken at the register. 13.46 lbs...perfect frying size.

I believe they also had coupons for free turkeys if you bought a ham.

Rouses ad from last week, good through today will give you a free Butterball turkey up to 12 lbs. if you also buy a spiral sliced ham at $2.99 a lb.

I'm assuming any weight over 12 lbs. will be calculated at the checkout counter.

That's what I paid yesterday.

Went through 80% of the ones they had out and picked the biggest I could find... 25.15 lbs!

I inject and smoke with seasoned pecan wood. Thanksgiving turkey is my moment to shine.

I just bought a turkey for $0.77 a lbs yesterday at Albertsons. I guess someone’s lying again so they can price gouge us.
