Hey y’all this guy here really uses his truck. If you didn’t know... now you know.

I'm sorry the entertainment package isn't what your mom promised you. Perhaps sitting in your truck and opening the sunroof for some fresh air will make you feel better. Maybe turn on the heated seats if you get chilly. I mean, this why you paid $60K for this badboy, right?

My 08 is sitting at 150k. Some of that being ranch work and it’s been abused. I really want to get a new one but it just won’t die.

Bad gas mileage is a complaint. And also mine is pretty basic and old but in ways that is a good thing. I'm going on 14 years and the truck still runs very good.

Well no shite. Who the hell would buy a Tundra to pull that.

GM's MPG statistics are bogus. They have gamed their AFM to match EPA testing conditions, but it does little for real life driving.

I have a an GMT900 Silverado that gets 16 MPG. Supposedly gets 21 MPG according to the sticker, but only gets that if I drive 60 on the interstate. I drive like I'm not geriatric, usually between 74-80 on interstate.

My Dad has a 2011 Tundra with the TRD package (purchased brand new) that has 392k miles on it. It has been a work truck since day one. Still running, still his work truck. He had a scare with it last week and he thought the motor might be going (which he wouldn't even be mad about given the mileage), but it was just the bearings on the alternator that needed to be replaced.

I have a 2017 TRD Pro and it’s been great. It’s a no frills truck.

I love the way they look but the insides are so plain Jane.

It’s sad really. They are way way behind in upgrades from the other models

Is it because they haven’t made the shite 10 in 15 years?

I have a 2016 2WD 5.7. Zero problems. Driving in houston rush hour traffic I average exactly 15 mpg and I have a heavy foot.

The rear window is great. All trucks should have that. Bluetooth works fine, has a backup camera and power windows, rear AC. It’s spacious. I don’t need or want a sun roof or all that other shite. It drives like a truck. Feels solid and heavy. Plenty power but won’t win any races.

It’s not as fast or smooth as the F150. It obviously won’t pull like a GMC 2500. Frankly there should be no decision between the two bc they’re not even in the same class. If you need to tow heavy then get the 2500. If you don’t need to tow heavy then no reason to get a 2500.

I’d like Toyota to upgrade the engine. Make the truck lighter. Better rear stowage. Other than that, I don’t know what else I need in a truck.

I have a 2014 1792 with the big arse motor. Got 96k miles on it. Been in two wrecks(neither my fault) and still no issues. When the guy rear ended me while I was sitting at the red light, it didnt budge when he hit me going 40mph. Shoved his motor block into his back seat though. Ended up bending my frame but overall truck has been great.

The Bluetooth sucks as does the jbl speakers but those are easy upgrades. I plan to keep it for a long arse time as I just paid it off. No reason to get a new one.

As an f250 6.2 owner I would have a tundra if they offered a longer bed with their crew max. I needed the damn bed space.

They are great trucks.
