2004 with 234k miles on it, almost all city (with shitty Lafayette potholes). Most reliable vehicle I've ever owned.

If they had a diesel engine, I would buy one.

dont know what tech these people want that a tundra needs.

My GMC has 2 features that I don’t think the Tundra has:

Intellibeam headlights that will automatically bright / dim the lights at night. First time I have owned a vehicle with the feature and now I will want it on all future vehicles.

Lane keep assist which can act as a sorta self driving mode in the right conditions. Today on the interstate I probably covered about 30 miles barely touching the wheel.

Do I need these things? I dunno but they are nice.

That’s two examples of things I don’t need, don’t care about having, and certainly don’t want to pay for. Turning my lights on has always been a pretty easy task.

And I like to steer myself—although in this age of distracted drivers I can see how this could be a life saving feature. My wife’s vehicle is loaded with lane drift warning and whatnot and I don’t like that stuff.

My 2019 Tundra Limited 4x4 crewcab has the autodimming/autobright headlights, it doesn't have the lane assist.

It does have the cruise control with freaking laser beams that means I don't have to touch the brakes. I think it kicks off around 30 mph though.
