Why the hell do I find these posts so damn funny?

Someone needs to call the cops and get this fricker locked up before he kills and eats any more people.

Because they actually are funny. And he’s all in. How can one not respect that? But I do think his comparing Pace picante sauce with that no name garbage is disingenuous.

Trying to imagine waking up to a bowl of ICEE cereal.

Friend,
Does mother approve of you squandering your precious gift of prose on media such as the O-T Lounge forum on Tigerdroppings.com? Surely she would view such an endeavor as a bootless errand.
Yours truly,

Imagine the amount of work going in to this thread
Goes to Sam’s. Takes pictures. Goes to Walmart. Takes pictures. Compares prices. Writes them down. Comes home. Hosts every single image on hosting website. Types up manuscript. Starts thread. Reserves the number of posts he will need for his entire manuscript. Posts.
This is like an all day affair. All weekend affair.
If he is a troll or just very much into playing a character on the OT he puts a lot of time and effort in to it.

Friends,
jaytothen, I hope your butler has already analyzed the prices at both. If he has not, you should consider finding a new butler who is more industrious and wise with your money.
WestCoastAg, last year, of all groceries purchased in America, 25.2% came from Walmart and 4.7% came from Sam's Club. To understand groceries in America, one must understand the groceries at these two stores. And yes, I pray one day I shall lead the cause of my forefather and forever banish alcohol from my native land.
brewhan, I call it "Operation Unjust Catch," and I have promised Dateline an exclusive so long as they blur my picture and voice and list my name as TL. If you would like to help in gathering actual weights of Sam's Club snow and king crab and their listed weights, I will gladly deputize you. The more Sam's Clubs for which we have evidence of incorrect weights, the more credence to our cause and story.
toff, I too have a Business Membership, one of the most exclusive and valuable memberships in America. Getting your shopping done before 9:30 is key to efficient trips to Sam's. Walmart before 10:00 is also very quiet, and I very much pleasure walking in the aisles of a quiet Walmart.
VolsOut, you are most welcome.
S, what kind words and wit ever flow from your fingers. Luke is a fine Gospel, but if I am honest, St. John's is my favorite of the four.
thejuiceisloose, while I am grateful for your concern for my dietary health, rest assured knowing that I also buy the large 2.5 lb bad of Popeye spinach in the refrigerated section. Mother prefers the prewashed baby spinach in the hard plastic case, but the big bag is a much better bargain and uses less plastic in its transport.
Oswald, I will have to research this Mr. Higgins chap.
dkreller, the minced meat at Sam's is nice, especially the 93/7. You seem to be a cattle and poultry expert. Do you happen to know how butchers know the meat is 93% meat and not 92%? Perhaps this will be my next undercover investigative report.
Hammerhead, I have many mixed feelings about Rouse's. The last time I went to the one in Mid-City, I arrived five minutes after closing. Unwittingly, I had forgotten that the Redbox from which I rented Beasts of the Southern Wild, a most unusual fantasy was inside the closed doors. I saw the manager locking the doors, and I politely asked if I could drop off the DVD, or risk being charged another night. He refused. That was 2012, and I have not been in Rouse's since. Perhaps, though, if it would help your shopping efforts, I could return.
MrLSU, I do not like dollar stores. They are leeches and participate in the creation and spread of food deserts. I will not participate in that study.
David, it is very good to see you again. Friends should never be divorced by space or time. When they are, it is a tragedy of unspeakable proportions, the antithesis of the way of grace. May our words and thoughts ever be connected.
Big Bill, please let us know what you purchased.
LSUGUMBO, you are crackerjack detergent authority. Thank you for sharing your knowledge with us.
Philter, we get our chickens from a farm in Mississippi. I do not like the chicken at Sam's or Walmart or any grocery for that matter. The chickens I have seen on that farm are running around all the day long.
soccerfut, your kindness in word to me knows no bounds. I relish your approval and will make sure you are on the first TulaneLSU Poorboy Tours of New Orleans, if God so wills it.
GRIZZ, I was born in 1984.
Tarps, casinos are, like dollar stores, cancers but of a much more insidious nature. I am torn on visiting one of their buffets. On the one hand, I do not want to enter and be seen in a casino. On the other hand, I know that I can eat fifteen pounds of snow crab legs at one sitting. Market price for snow crab legs is $8-12 a pound right now, which would mean I could cost a casino to lose well over $100 by eating in one of their buffets. I shall pray for an answer.
Jake88, we all have a job: to glorify God and enjoy him forever, as the great Catechism teaches us. Spreading the Gospel of our Savior is the greatest promotion any of us could ever hope to receive. And it is freely given! Mother would like me to start earning a paycheck again. She says it would be good for me. I may return to the St. Charles Ave. rails, and if I do, look for the conductor giving lectures in a Meyer the Hatter conductor's hat. Never forget, "Death rides the highway, but you are safe in the trolley car."
GreenRockTiger, I visit many different Sam's Clubs. I have shopped at the one in Slidell, Kenner, Metairie, Baton Rouge, and Shreveport. I have also been to the one in Mobile, Pensacola, Langhorne, PA, and a few in Tennessee. My favorite location is Kenner, but we usually go to the one in Metairie. Please note, I do not refer to them as snowcones, as you once suggested. I call them snoballs.
Obtuse1, yes, Mother actually donated my F-350 tour bus. Perhaps with a steady income from the streetcars, I will be able to save up for one again.
Basura, Mother drives a Mercedes, which I do not like. It is a show of ostentatiousness and German. Each day I urge her to donate it and get a more humble vehicle.
BHM, we should consider getting a shopping club organized. The OT Grocery Club could be our name and we could shop together at a set time and day of the week.
Pfft, Evangeline Maid bread is not anathema to me. However, when they suggest the buns they are selling are poorboy loaves, I draw the line.
Festus, Mother once threatened to withhold dinner from me if I did not stop calling it mootz-ah-rell. I do not pronounce the A at the end either. It was an empty bluff.
Iona, always a blessing to see your presence here. Mother sends her warmest regards and hugs.
Jim Rockford, your memory is impeccable as always.
sqerty, the ICEE cereal was not good. I ate the entire box, but will not be getting another one.
Bernard Bierman, Mother is quite friendly with many posters on the OT and she encourages me to share my writings here. The truth is, no one else would read my words except those here. This calling is my "Errand into the Wilderness," to borrow from Samuel Danforth.
TexasTiger33, may we pray without ceasing that each of our interactions, every comma and letter we use here, be used Ad Majorem Dei Gloriam!
Macfly, always a pleasure.
fr33manator, I am unworthy of praise from the Bard of TD.
USMC, you must have me mistaken for someone else. I have never posted on reddit, and anyone who would so dare to use my name is a fraud.
dallastiger, you will find all you need here.
Delacroix, time is one of our greatest gifts. Anyone could post such a survey if he or she spent just a couple of hours. Is it not worth it? I encourage more posters to consider what they post here and donate to the greater public a full wealth of conviction. If one spends three or four hours watching a game of adults playing a children's game, he is considered one of the boys. But if another spends the same time organizing a thought into something that may be of even small value to another he has never met, he is considered on the spectrum. I do not understand the values of today.
