I personally think his best argument is that the charge allowed the jury to convict without being unanimous on which predicate offense existed.
Is this where we’re at now? We agree that he committed a misdemeanor when he intentionally falsified business records to quietly pay off a porn star, but we hope there’s a loophole to help him escape more serious charges?

I don’t know. I’m just telling you that the charge on unanimity does not feel right to me, and I think this case has a far better than average chance of getting Supreme Court review.

That’s a flat Sixth Amendment issue. The Supreme Court could take it on writs from New York’s highest court. And, from what I can tell, there is a split in federal circuits on the issue (making it more likely for a writ to be granted).
I hadn't heard that one, but I think it's solid as well.

If what Trump did was criminal then every business person needs to get the frick out of NY as soon as possible.

If Trump were a contestant on The Apprentice, he would have fired himself. At some point you have to take responsibility for all the L’s that keep piling up.
The L’s are political by activists within the opposing party who using their own standard should have recused themselves from the start.
And vote for Biden??? He has as much or more baggage than Trump and many more years of govt corruption/enrichment (on top of his overt racism and attraction towards children). You would have to be completely political or ignorant to ignore the L’s piling up that are just ignored by media and prosecutors just because he is a Dem political insider, a part of 2 Dem administrations, and now a senile old hack who can’t even define what a women is (little boys around him probably also need to be on guard for gropings).
Dems who ignore issues of both Clintons and Biden while acting like they have some political moral high ground with their candidate again are just ignorant or count on their followers as being ignorant.

You'll have to look elsewhere, bucko. I'm so calm it might actually make you uncomfortable.
My white privilege is being tested today, though. Booked a tee time without taking PTO but this weather is killing the dream. If I have to do work today I might riot.

Even though we have both been posting here for quite some time, I really have no recall of any interaction with you, and so I really don't know if we agree on a lot. I would like to ask you a pretty simple and straightforward question, do you think this trial, or any of the other court proceedings against Trump are politically motivated?

The average person commits 3 felonies per day. Do you think we should all face frivolous prosecution that in the end doesn't really serve justice to anyone?

Another disillusioned Biden voter! So you're better off now than you were while Trump was president? If you wanna be honest, which you Demwits are not at all, you would say definitely not!

I'm not sure why anyone is shocked. The leftist scum have been shamelessly trying to undermine him since 2015....They know damn well Joe Biden is a (somewhat) walking corpse with zero energy for the job- and that people are onto that fact.
This will be overturned- but that's not the point. They'll keep piling on bullshite charges even after he takes office in a blatant attempt to keep him from doing his job. These people are absolute garbage. They DO NOT CARE if the entire country gets trashed as long as they stay in power.

We are at a point where 50% or more of the country would prefer a person who may have committed 34 felonies to the current president, because many can no longer afford groceries/gas/homes etc. They see corporations making record profits, wars in multiple regions (using funding from us), impending tax increases, and a focus on fringe issues for small swaths of the population. That’s where we are.

He is. He is poorer, and the economy sucks and everything sucks, but purple hairs are allowed on the WH lawn topless, and nobody is mean tweeting and the adults are in charge again, so he sleeps well
The fact that millions of dollars of taxpayer money were wasted on something this stupid gives him no pause
