yep dollar tree...Cascadia is a great truck! I love mine. I went from a 2019 international to a 2023 freightliner just recently.

Question my inverter shut off is set at 11.8v. My old truck i think was set at 12.2v. I should be good for that voltage right? I got a big fridge lol

My dad insisted on hotels instead of using a sleeper. He didn't want to live in the truck 24/7.

Right on. Anybody who’s done a dollar account safely for a year is a truck maneuvering mofo that anybody would hire. With your opti idle/auto start set your truck should be kicking on at 12.0v anyway. If its constantly starting up though you probably need a bigger inverter. Stay safe

it kicks on at 12.2 on opti idle but I was figuring when I'm home, I believe I'll be good if I leave the truck completely off instead of opti idle...and yes I've backed into some dam cracks...in the end brother just use GOAL and it dont matter how many times we pull up as long as we get er done...

Amen on GOAL. No matter how long it takes, be sure you’re not about to hit something. Are you getting load shed messages regularly? If you are I would not leave the truck completely off unless you were unplugging everything and shutting off your inverter.

Last year I made 84k. Hope to top 90k this year.

This actually sounds like a decent gig.

Darn freightliners and gear grinding coffee drinking nutts.

Retired from a government job and sold my equipment repair shops.
Yes, I dealt with you coffee drinking nutts.
Now you guys running those fancy automatics.

Work at a friends shop a few days a week to work on cummins and detriots.
After a big job at my age I do take some time off.
Brakes, AC, air leaks, and clutches are easy.
Getting in trucks having to bend down to hunt down an electrical quirk gets to me.
Yes, I got my cummins certifications as my prior business one shop was a cummins cerfitifed repair center.
Don't get me started on Cummins Turbo's.
Yes, I know what a Paccar is and can work on them.
Driver's who own them think the engines are gold.

Eaton and Allisons also as I know what they are too.
I had a shop were we an Eaton and Allison service center.

FYI, working part time I bring in a little more than you do.
Again, I been working on trucks and equipment since 1985 part time or full-time.

If those young whipper snappers would stick around, learn from us old timers, and get their certifications they can easy make $45 to $90 hr depending on market demand.

no, the truck is good. I was just cautious about the lower shut off voltage versus the older truck i had. On the freightliner it doesn't let you adjust the shut off back on Eaton control panel to 12.2 like other trucks. At least not at Werner.
