Did you want it back? I don't want that thing back. God only knows how bad that trashed it.

Truck was stolen Monday night and I won't have a rental until Friday....there was not a single rental in the entire city of Houston.

This is why I drive my wife's minivan to Houston.

Did they bust in a window or did you leave your truck unlocked?
Neither. The cops say they don't have to bust the windows anymore.

Did you have a spare key in the car? How did they start it

It's either in Mexico, or back into a convenience store.

Police philosophy 101 - no one got hurt and the insurance company will pay you some money. We don't have time for menial shite.

The exact vibe I got even after mentioning my pistol was locked in the console vault.

It's pretty simple to get into a vehicle with just a screwdriver and a wire coat hanger, if it's locked.

If my truck is stolen I don’t want it back.

Atlanta seems far more ghetto

You're expectations are too high. Lower them.

If it is a Chevrolet they just hook to something in the drivers side fenderwell and unlock it and start it. I had a customer with a crew in Houston that lost a truck. The theft was caught on camera and took them a total of about 2-3 mins to unlock, start it and disable the on star. It was all done with a laptop plugged into something in the fenderwell.
