I’ll drop 10k to build out a hunting rifle but can’t spend it on a watch. I’ve got a few nice watches but I just can’t understand spending that much on something to wear on a my wrist. I look at as a new sxs or a bunch of suppressors.

I’d rather spend 60k on a restored 70s bronco for the wife than buy something that requires $1,500 tail lights

And will also appreciate in value versus being worthless after 10 years

It's a dodge, they've always been heavily discounted.

I mentioned this in the UAW thread, but would you buy a vehicle right now from a company that has had employees on strike? How long would you wait? I would probably wait a year after the strike to buy one if I was thinking about it.

I hate to break it to you so many car manufacturers have moved assembly lines to Mexico, I would doubt that UAW will still have enough jobs to go around. Ford moved some of their production lines south of the border. Stelantis, the parent company Dodge and Ram is no different.

In April of 2020 I paid 44k at 0% financing for a Laramie 4x4 with a few additional upgrades. So, while the dealers might be negotiating now the manufacturer and banks haven’t come down off of their margins.

I bought a F150 STX for 52K six months ago, I pulled up in an UBER though so I'm sure I got bent.

They added some BS inventory tax but I got a free 2" lift/level kit.

Bighorn. The Laramie trucks were way too much. I’m not a big gadget guy and I hate leather seats. They’re miserable things in Florida.

Even with the ventilated cooled seats? Come on now.

Especially knowing there are better watches than can be had for less.

I got a 2023 Ram Limited for 55k from the same dealership about a month ago. It's worth the drive to Texas for these prices right now.
