They’re acting like they chose to drive trucks because it is patriotic.

quote:

So I stopped at Bucee’s in Madisonville the other morning. This picture is the truck I was driving. I didn’t realize at the time how ruthless this company is . They have signs along their property that says no 18 wheelers . I wasn’t driving an 18 wheeler it was a cab and chassis , what the trucking industry calls a bobtail. They refused service of any kind to me. No coffee, no restroom, everything. It was at that point that I realized that here is a company making millions off the American people; and yet they refuse service to the men and women drivers out putting themselves and their families at risk to supply grocery stores, and more importantly life saving medical supplies to hospitals during this crisis and they can’t even go in for a refreshing drink or use the restroom. I think we need to boycott Bucky’s and I’m asking all my Facebook friends and family to share this post and put an end to this great wrong being done. And just for those who are confused by picture , there is no trailer so there is not 18 wheels on the ground.

Truck drivers have always been heroes. In the 70s there was a story about a bunch of them convoying across the country to see a sick little boy that would talk to them on the cb. I saw it on 60 minutes. Brought a tear to my eye.

It’s strange because wouldn’t a seasoned driver know the places to go that are specifically for 18-wheelers or any variation thereof? They’re literally named for who they’re meant for and what you do there.

I take this isn't Madisonville, Louisiana.

Seems that if they had a Bucee's, this board would have made me very aware of that fact.

This isn't new - Bucee's isn't a truck stop. It's for Karen, Joe and the kids in tow to fuel up. You don't go to McDonalds and get pissed when they don't serve Whoppers...

He’ll be happy to know I’ll never set foot in another Bucky’s, per his request.

I will however continue to indulge in a little gluttony at Buc-ee’s. Taco dude in the middle of the store=fricking GOAT
