In another fun twist, I went outside to look at the water level in the street and there are fish swimming in my front yard and up and down the street.
Grab your rod and catch dinner. Game wardens won’t be out due to the storm.

Major Hurricane Ida hit Louisiana 2021, the other Ida hit Alabama in 2009 with no impact on Louisiana. Humberto was a cat 1 Texas storm. Ike hit Galveston, had no impact on BR. Rita, SW LA/TX had little or no impact on BR.
They all technically impacted Louisiana while I was in Louisiana. But sure I’ll award you the internet points you were looking for.

Should’ve seen the city when we shut down for the record snowfall of 4” in like 2015
It was Jan 6, 2018 and I thought it was 6 inches (twss). Only snowed that one day but enough to shut down the entire city for a week.
My dog didn’t mind the snow.

They had absolutely no impact on Baton Rouge, so I'll detract points from you for embellishing facts.
How were you technically impacted?
Why make shite up like it was a thing?
You do know a majority of posters on the board live in Louisiana? You didn't think you would be called out?

I think I need a small cast net more like it. They are just small Tilapia.
It was just weird to walk in my grass and see fish take off toward the street

What’s your problem??? Calm down.

I assumed the general idea was that lots of storms hit his home state when he lived in Louisiana and now he's brought that "luck" to his current home state of SC. But perhaps I'm not dissecting it enough.

Everyone’s hypersensitive bc absolute retards like Liz claim to have intimately close memories of every other major storm despite geography and actual facts

Liz doesn’t seem very well liked on here…. Self inflicted????

Debby is forecast to move only ~285 miles from where the center is now in the next 72 hours.
4 miles an hour gives an estimate of 25 inches in some places based on the 100 divided by the forward speed of a tropical system.

Some people just can’t see a joke even when it is tee-bagging them.

Little to no heavy rain here the past few hours. Kind of a nothing burger thus far. Keep that shite stalled over N Fla / S GA.

Those are minnows from the storm drain. That's not dinner, it's bait.

Jim Cantore is parked on the pier at Waterfront Park. Seems sad there's not more action.
But he did say there's an 11 pm curfew in effect so you baws heading out to Dispensary or Rec Room need to keep that in mind.

Lots of dry air impacting system all over.
Water vapor imagery is really drying up at the moment.
The west side is pretty much devoid of convection due to the dry air. It's also wrapping around causing dry slots on the east side.
