I may just have to do that one Christmas. It is getting harder for me to tolerate the arrogant a-hole.

Starving Africans get the meat from these kills. Animals were put on this earth to feed people. So he might actually be cool with it.

Perhaps you aren't familiar with the difference between a lion's teeth and a rifle.

Are you saying a lion just walking around a few hundred yards away is any match to a trophy hunter with a scoped high-powered rifle? It figures. Most of your ilk that I've met are about as ignorant as that.

One can donate money and not kill the endangered animals, which lions are (as well as elephants).

I hope none of you guys who are against killing defenseless animals don’t eat meat. Or fish. Or poultry. Or insects. Or arachnids.

I have no interest in hunting Lions, but these lions would not exist if not for the "caged hunt." They were bred specifically for that purpose. If the owners program closes, he wont just keep them lions.

Save these pigs by eating them

Seems to be a similar paradox. If people don't eat these pigs, farmers will stop raising them and they will die off.

Many species of animals were here long before humans. The crab is 450 million years old and sharks are 150 million year old.

Trophy hunting is far from the only source of income. Plenty of tourists who pay for tours to see wildlife without wanting to kill them.

at you too buddy. People who need to get their thrills killing animals just for bragging rights and to hang a head on a wall are actually pretty pathetic and have a very limited view of life.
Hopefully karma pays you and my brother-in-law a visit real soon

Another over emotional wretch.

This. In 1950 there were 250,000 lions on earth. Today that number is only 14,000.

There are more than 7,500,000,000 people. Maybe trophy hunters could start shooting criminals who get the death penalty instead of defenseless animals.

One could, but they don’t raise enough funds or locals wouldn’t need to rely on these trophy hunts for conservation and preservation. Hunters provide the vast majority of wildlife conservation funds. Educate yourself

If all the bleeding hearts would put their money where their mouth is, then trophy hunting could end (but someone would still be paid to cull problem/sick/injured animals from herds)
