The killer should use the same rationale that defenders of the lion killer use

“Well, people are overpopulated in this area. I’m just thinning out the species and making the area safer”

Sure there is, and do you think that meat isn't used?

I'd love to kill a lion.

There are alot of people that high fence property for deer in America, FYI

I'm not sure what your point is? I was just pointing out that these are captive bred lions, not some safari hunt shooting a wild lion.

My point was clear

Look how people have seemed to be angry at the fact "he just walks up into a pen and kills the lion?"

I was preemptively pointing out people do that here in America with deer.....

I don't think the lion would care about you knighting for it while it ate you, so one could surmise that lions are assholes too

How dare you assume what that lion would think. For all you know, that lion could be a trophy hunter.

Shooting farm raised animals keeps pressure off of the native population you’re trying to protect while generating income for the area. And farm raising or protecting young animals to release into the wild when they reach adulthood may also add to the species in the wild.

That’s my best guess, and OP is a dickbag.

Trophy hunting for the thrill alone is just all kind of fricked up.

It is, and I don't care what anybody says, the people who get their thrills from killing unfeeling and insensitive person I have ever met defenseless animals who are just going about their normal routine in their own element are warped and sadistic. I have a brother-in-law who has gone on canned hunts like these, and he is the most unfeeling and insensitive person I've ever met without a doubt. I actually secretly despise him, but for the sake of family comity at gatherings and such, I force myself to get along with him.

Except that it directly leads to 90% of the funding of the preservation of these species. You like lions? Thank hunters.

Also they have to purge these lions in areas where theyve outlawed hunting them. So either guy pays big bucks to hunt one lion (therefore funding research/habitation) or some african shoots and AR out of helicopter cause TOO MANY LIONS YALL.

Nah baw, get drunk at Christmas and tell him how you feel. When he tries to defend himself just say "What would Jesus do you bitch arse frick? I know he wouldn't be a pussy that shoots stand fed animals!"

Then when he cries it's for conservation tell him to frick off even more b/c if he actually gave a shite about that he would donate money w/o going to kill shite.

It'll be a really fun Christmas!

I hope they don't catch the person who shot that a-hole. They should give him the head as a trophy.
