The rest of the local media lapdogs will do exactly what their idiot boss SWB tells them to do.

Many might not remember but years and years ago SWB used to work for WBRZ and did segments for them. It’s kind of a conflict of interest.

I don’t understand these youngsters. We were bad teens and all we did was drink, smoke, maybe get in a fight once a year. Stole a couple of candy bars…

St Luke’s was not happy with the idea of old Woman’s becoming the new parish prison.

I’m not sure making it BRPD HQ is much of an improvement.

You can if you are a member of the Navajo nation.

This is a direct result of what happens when you elect the mentality/attitude of SWB along with a police chief that thinks just like she does.

They don't care because it doesn't directly effect them.

Unless I'm missing the articles, I don't see this shooting reported anywhere on the local news stations. Has anyone found any reports?

That's because even though teens, of all races, have always had a proclivity to test boundaries by engaging "bad acts", you likely grew up in a culture where murder was considered a heinous act. Something that was completely unthinkable to you and your peers...even though you were willing to engage in "lesser crimes." Thus, your lack of understanding arises from you assuming the group engaging in such behavior shares your same cultural norms.

They don't.

It is not a socially polite conversation to have, but the reality is murder is not looked upon as a heinous act in young black culture. In fact, just the opposite. GENERALLY speaking (i.e. it doesn't apply to every individual) murder is seen as a relatively reasonable response to conflict.

It’s on the homepage of both WBRZ and WAFB, where are you looking?

SPEEDY, I don't blame you if you rather not talk about, but does BRPD have a lot less man power today than they did when MP was not the Chief of Police?

I was looking at both those sites and didn't see it. Weird.

Why is WAFB blatantly lying about where the shooting took place?
This occurred at the main entrance to Broadmoor subdivision on the corner of Airline & Goodwood (NOT "near Sherwood Forest") Look at the link below:

LINK /

link contains: "/brpd-respond-shooting-near-sherwood-forest"

WAFB should be ashamed of themselves, they are dishonest puppets, not journalists reporting the news.

It’s unclear for now what led up to the shooting.

Feral needs no reason.

Those those doing this will never stop until this type of behavior dooms them- permanently.

The article clearly says where the shooting took place.

quote:

The shooting took place at the intersection of Airline Highway and Goodwood Boulevard before 10:00 p.m.
