Fair would be life in prison or the death penalty.

I am more interested in finding out more about the fraud background that she gets defensive about according to some posters.

See how long you hold on to those "Christian" ideals if it was your child who was murdered.

It's easy for you to take this holier than thou attitude behind your computer, not having to grieve over a dead child who died for nothing.

Hell, I don't even have any kids and I find your attitude disgusting.

You give a second chance to people that are truly remorseful and want to better themselves. Not to cold blooded murderers who show no remorse for their actions.

I’m ok with this. Strip away any and all chance at youth the way he stole Austin’s chance to enjoy his youth.

Suicidal empathy, hate to see it.

I’ll ask again, do you know how small the chances are of being born during this prosperous time on earth? It’s okay with you that a piece of garbage that doesn’t deserve to be breathing takes away your son or your family member’s chance to take advantage of that? Let’s just forgive him and let him re-offend against another victim when he gets out?

pathetic

Idk, weren't some of his defenders saying he needed to respond with lethal force because of how small he was and how Metcalf towered over him? He might be someone's petite little boyfriend in prison

Odds are he joins a black gang and is protected from all high.

But that increases the chances of him not being able to get parole.

His biggest problem won't be AB. It will be his own kind. He is not affiliated or connected like that. They are going to bleed his arse dry.

Yup. He came from a very privileged life. That won't go over well in prison.

He gave Austin a death sentence when Austin was 17…and Austin did nothing wrong. 1000% avoidable death, yet 35 years, possibility to be out in 17.5 is fair?

I cannot fathom how much strength I would need from the Lord to navigate those waters.

Please explain how this is suicidal empathy? I have said nothing about the verdict. He has had his day on court and the system has ruled. I have no issues when his punishment for his crime.

So just throw him out like garbage. No chance for redemption. I just can't get with that line of thinking...ever.
