MAYBE objected to some points by the prosecution but this was a very weak hand for him.
I was speaking just to the lack of witnesses called for sentencing.

Now.
HHTM is an idiot and a liar
He saw a fake on X and didn't go to Truth to verify. Nothing is currently on Trump's timeline of that nature

I stated that the Metcalf kid should have gotten assistance from an adult because 17 y.o. boys aren't going to listen to other 17 y.o. boys.
Do you have to have someone help you get dressed and tie your shoes every day?

Will there be a civil suit brought against the family so the Anthony family can not continue to enrich themselves off their convicted son?
There could be. But there's nothing available that would prevent the family from collecting from their GoFund Me ot whatever its called.
Some sort of negligence suit against the parents isn't going to go anywhere.

Shortly after 3:30, Karmelo Anthony returned to the courtroom. According to NBC 5's Maria Guerrero, who is inside the Collin County courthouse, Anthony was physically shaking and being held by a female defense attorney.
Judge John Roach was informed that the state agreed to the addition of "sudden passion" as the jury continues with the sentencing phase, meaning that the defense can argue that the murder was committed when the defendant was in an intense emotional state triggered by immediate provocation from the victim.
During voir dire, Prosecutor Dewey Mitchell explained that sudden passion is "a situation when someone is in such a state of emotion, based on something that just happened, that they don't have time to cool off."
If the jury agrees with the sudden passion argument, the charge is reduced to a second-degree felony, which lowers the punishment range to 2 to 20 years in prison.

That isn't what unjust enrichment is.
These people are freely giving them money.

it clearly showed 4 guys jumping him before he stabbed Metcalf in self defense and fled.
I'm pretty sure there was video released almost immediately after this happened that disproved this false narrative that was parroted on social media by the idiots.

This is like the most open and shut high profile trial I've seen in a while.

Why in the absolute frick would you agree to this if you are the state? You are essentially giving the jury a chance to blame the victim..

Obviously you haven't dealt with adolescent boys in a group situation.
The vast majority of this site is male and thus at one point were adolescent boys in group situations at times. Many here also have kids, some of which are the same age. You definitely didn’t think that through before posting
The reality is the vast majority of kids that age are not going around attacking much less murdering someone because they disagree. It’s completely reasonable and normal to expect even kids to turn away if being told to by even another kid without resorting to violence. At most you might get some expletives thrown your way.
You’re literally victim blaming

I disagree, they're giving him money for his defense fund per the give send go at the detriment of Austin who was killed.
criminals can't profit from their crimes, this was a big deal in the John Wayne Gacy case
