Travis Kelce has been named as a victim in a massive Ponzi scheme that pulled in more than $35 million from investors.
Siddharth Jawahar, a 38-year-old illegal immigrant, pleaded guilty to three counts of wire fraud and has now been sentenced to 11 years in federal prison and ordered to pay more than $31 million in restitution.
Prosecutors say Jawahar took in more than $35 million but invested only about $10 million, using new investor money to repay earlier clients and fund private jets, luxury hotels, and expensive outings.
Kelce’s individual losses have not been publicly disclosed as this time

I'm betting the $31M is just the unrecoverable amount. It does say he invested $10M, so he didn't steal the full $35M. He stole $25M and is now ordered to pay back $31M.
Obviously he doesn't have any of that money, so good luck to his victims.

Why cant these morons just put their money in a nice low cost index account and then watch it grow with no additional effort required? They're always looking for some weird sketchy way to make money that would make a trailer park inhabitant uncomfortable but they dive right in anyway. Good thing hes athletic or hed be living under a bridge.
