Its purely anecdotal but every time I have been out the drivers on the interstate have been insane.

Not gonna lie, people have been absolutely flying down I-10 between BR & Nola the past several weeks. I set my cruise at 80 and I still get passed up like I'm sitting still. I don't know if it's just Baws late for work in the morning, or drug runners between Houston & Nola, but y'all need to slow your asses down.

In the Houston metro, people are driving like maniacs......seriously. New posted speed is 100mph.

maybe its cause the cops aren't pulling people over right now.

Yet states saw a 15% decrease in deaths this past march compared to the past 4 years, per the CDC. So, less people on the roads = more deaths than usual and yet still 15% decrease

Not surprising. Pretty sure most car crashes are single car wrecks, and the same goes for fatal car crashes.
People likely thinking they can get away with anything behind the wheel because of light traffic and thinking that a cop won't risk pulling someone over at this point.

I couldn’t help but crack up the other day when my GPS said slow traffic ahead and during a stay at home order.

I12 around BR every day to work and back has much less drivers but they are going even faster and crazier than usual.
