Yeah, it's been crazy and not only on the Interstate. I have never seen so many cars pull out in front of other cars in my life.

Also anecdotal but it seems like that everywhere, not just the interstate. Seem to be fewer cops patrolling so people drive like, as my high school drafting teacher used to say about us kids leaving the school, their house is on fire and all the water is in their trunk.

This. I live in a rural area and there is less traffic, but the cars I do see are being driven by idiots who think they have a free pass. I guess they don’t think the cops are patrolling as much.

Actually in numerous states automobile related deaths have increased even with less people driving. Generally speaking, speed (on all streets) is the major factor in accidents and related deaths. Less people driving actually means more people driving faster, and a higher change of serious injury in an accident, see Missouri -- Missouri Traffic Deaths Increase Despite COVID-19 -- LINK
In some ways traffic, especially inter-city traffic is good for safety. Its very hard to accidently hit another driver and (or a person or a bicyclist) resulting in a serious injury or death when driving 20 miles/hour. At 40 miles/hour its much easier. And at 80 miles/hour no one is walking away.

To be fair driving with a mask greatly reduces your peripheral vision.
