Toyota Releases MSRP Rate Sheet on 6th Gen 4Runner

I know the OT loves 4Runners, but at these prices I get the feeling some of these will sit on lots much longer than the current generations do.
The base 2wd SR5 doesn't really see much of a jump but the TRD Off Road Premium gets a near $8000 price jump, $47130 to $54970, and the TRD Pro a near $12000 bump, $55170 to $66900.
I see no reason to get rid of our 2019 at these prices.

Honestly, those prices are not near as bad as I expected.
Still bad, but not my worst fear.
That gas mileage always shocks me more than the price.

Toyota is getting ballsy.
I want a TRD pro Sequoia but not paying 80k for one.

who would buy a 2WD SR5 when the 4WD is only $2k more?

That is a damn good looking 4-Runner they designed.
Costs is about as expected these days. Crazy that there are 16 trim levels for this vehicle....

70k for a 4runner?
the GX starts around 60, leaning towards that or the next gen LX

You can get a solid SR5 for a good price, but I am not convinced on the twin turbo 4 banger yet. I have a GEN3 and am a huge fan, but as good as these look, I would like to see the platform get at least 5-8 years under the belt/over 150-200k miles.
Was this new powertrain used on anything else before now, or is this all new?

Lol, do you really think Toyota (or any car company) would keep prices the same on a brand new platform vehicle?! I love 4Runners, always have. I’m really liking the new TRD Sport with these new ones. I prefer the TRD off-road package with the new Tacoma but not in 4Runner. The Trailhunter & Pro are out of my price-range

Those look terrible no matter the price

Yet people spend more than 80K on garbage Tahoes/Yukons, just to keep-up with the mommies in the school drop-off line.

I would rather just get a Land Cruiser at those prices.

I'm a GMC Yukon Denali driver but those 4Runners are good looking. I would buy one.

Looks are subjective…but in your opinion, What suv comes close to a 4Runner value?

As a current 4Runner TRD Pro owner, I have to say, give me the Land Cruiser or the GX550 overtrail if I'm gonna be spending that much.
