If you are looking for a newer one, today someone on Mud posted a silver ‘07 LC with 45k miles for sale. Asking $38k before putting it on BaT.

I have a 1995 LC...the problem have with this vehicle 1. it loves gas 2. the driver side seat (leather) is starting to crack 3. after 345,000 miles painting starting to fade. other than that it has been a solid tank.

I’d be shocked if a 25 yr old vehicle’s leather wasn’t cracked or the paint fading.

Gas is cheap and will be for a while but I imagine you had a tough 10 year stretch up to 2014z

The other two complaints equate to an 85 year old man in perfect health still playing golf every morning complaining about gray hair.

You think the GX is the minivan of SUV’s?!?! Lol, No!....a Highlander or similar crossovers are the new. minivans.
GX is a plush Landcruiser Prado. Fantastic body on frame SUV.

Most people dont keep their vehicles for 25 years and 500,000 miles.

And our family has had multiple suburban/yukons/tahoes. Every one has cracked 200,000 without major issues, dad's suburban is over 300k.

That’s an interesting complaint for a 25 year old vehicle. Do you have it detailed or treat the leather? I treat the leather in mine every two weeks or so. Probably more often than it needs, but no cracking and that leather is soft. Twenty years old and better quality than my Sierra.

Toyota finally confirmed it on 12/24.

My guess is like the LC Prado, they will only sell the J300 in the US as a Lexus.

That’s the plan. It’s not a bad idea. The GX is a beast and if I wanted something a little bigger I would have passed on the LC for the LX for the marginal extra money.

It's just not an attractive looking vehicle for the price. It's not ugly, but from just looking at it, you would never guess that it's worth north or $40k let alone $80k.

You can get them for almost the exact same price. Guess it depends what you plan to do with it. The LXs depreciate quicker due to all the ppl driving them on a 3 yr lease and trading in. So if you buy used, Lx is definitely the better bet.

Same for the GX. I originally wanted the 4Runner but the used prices were nuts and I found a smoking deal on a 3 year old GX with under 30k miles.

Wife has a 200 LC. It’s worth more than I paid for it in July certified pre owned. It’s a tank for sure. Rumors in a few years they bring the LC nameplate back with a scaled down version to the states. But who knows.
