This is correct. You would be hard pressed to find someone with coprolalia (what cursing WITH Tourette's is actually called) that would want it filmed for money. Tourette's is just a tick.

But...she's a disgusting human being who fakes tourette's for money. You could find better at a Jet Coffee.

I was at LSU with Chris Jackson and I can tell you he would have had a much easier time if he hadn't had to deal with that.

You must be too young to have seen him play.

The NBA wouldn't allow him to take his meds due to the anti-doping rules, but Mahmoud Abdul-Rauf had a nasty head fake due to tourette's back when he took the Nuggets to the finals with Mutumbo in 94. Was automatic at the free throw line.

Was she the one people claim is fake for clicks? I know there's one that they go after online.

I've seen one real case of it in my life but it wasn't verbal. He had body motions every few minutes he couldn't control , like a head banger listening to Metallica

I lived next door to a guy who had it. He would just have random loud outburst of noises. But he never shouted out cuss words or vulgarities.

I don't deny that it is a real condition. But I've always found it "odd" that the way it affects some is by forcing them to shout out vulgarities. That seems to be a very "specific" symptom

Used to work in corporate america with a guy that had verbal outburst version of tourettes. It was really sad because he was such a smart and nice guy.

He ended up moving to Denver and opening a medical marijuana business and dispensary because he found that it was the only thing that truly helped him. He's now a multi-millionaire. Pretty cool story!

Make strains for different ailments after honing in on one that really helped him for his condition.

Like a lot of syndromes, it has a spectrum. I know a guy who has it and he deals with the inability to speak in any volume other than a low shout. Nicest guy in the world, but if you didn't know him you'd think he was yelling at you for no reason.

Not sure, maybe. I do think it's odd that 99% of what she blurts out is vulgar... but maybe that's the norm

You are an idiot. I have someone very close to me that has Tourette’s but thankfully they do not have Coprolalia, which, as someone else posted, is the form of Tourette’s characterized by verbal outbursts of cuss words.

Apparently, only about 1% of Tourette’s patients truly have Coprolalia.

Interesting fact, according to the neurologist, 99% of boys who have Tourette’s exhibit symptoms but only 1% of girls with the disorder show any symptoms.

An attorney in BR has a verbal tick. Some weird “guuyyyyuuung” type sound he says every couple sentences or so.

Probably retired. Haven’t seen him in years. Or dead.
