That’s not entirely correct. It depends upon how much is the estate and what assets there are. If it is a small succession, then you may be able to handle it by affidavit instead of going through an entire court proceeding. it just depends on the situation.

Aren’t all replay reviews handled by the SEC office in Birmingham? Don’t expect any replays to be in favor of LSU.

The matchup I am most worried about is us against the ole miss biased refs. My fear is that they have been instructed to kill any big plays that go our way and let ole miss get away with essentially everything. They will at least keep the score close, I think.

This is the first real chance Sankey has to get back at LSU for the pro player issues and I think he is going to take it.

My hope is that, if that happens, Sankey will not try to tip the scales against LSU for the remainder of the season.
And one of the quick clips, I listened to the one of the jurors, said that the holdout refused to listen to three other nurses who were on the jury and were explaining what the medication‘s could do to the defendant. All that means is that he followed the law. Those nurses should not have even interjected anything of their own experience into the deliberations. That is not evidence and should not have been considered. He was correct to not consider their opinions and then follow his understanding of the case.
I agree. It would not surprise me if they were made GA’s or something if they choose to stay at the university. Also they may realize just how far LSU and LK went to get them an opportunity. Finally, with everything else, this sets up a really nice lawsuit for them against the NCAA and SEC, if they want to go that route.
I don’t think it’s necessarily things LSU did, but don’t forget the way that Kiffin left both Tennessee and Ole Miss. I bet it’s as much about punishing him as much as anything else.

My fear is that Sankey being humiliated will make him issue a silent, standing order throughout the conference that is communicated to all referees, especially the replay review in Birmingham, to make sure that LSU is punished on the field by the referee’s and prevented from winning games.
As I understand it, and someone please correct me if I am wrong, the initial contact between LSU and these players occurred prior to the SEC passing a specific rule against it. In fact the NCAA created this mess when they changed the eligibility rules and even it didn’t know what to do with players in this position.

Ultimately LSU complied with the new rule but the SEC will, IMHO be in for another court battle if it tries to penalize LSU for something that was not explicitly against any rules.

So sorry for your loss. This brings to mind some great memories with my mom. A huge LSU fan. She was in a memory care unit near me in 2019. Not much short term memory left, but we watched every game of that tremendous season together. No matter how much she struggled, she was always ready to talk about “Joe Burrows’ the entire year. She passed just as the 2029 season was getting started. I will forever be thankful to the entire 2019 team and coaches for the fabulous memories I shared with my mom during her final season .
I agree. My main concern now is, regardless of what happens with the lawsuits, Sankey and the rest of the SEC hierarchy will put a bullseye on LSU‘s back. The refs will obviously be against us in SEC games and I doubt that Kiffin wins any replay review challenges this year. I think that the SEC office is that petty.
Why would the SEC even have standing LSU over this? There wasn’t, to my knowledge, even a rule prohibiting this type of action until the SEC made one recently. Also, if they violated the rules, then the SEC should simply enforce whatever sanctions it has in place for violation of rules. This is not something that the court should even entertain. The SEC did not suffer any damages by what LSU did.
The way I understand it, Bush had the national guard and FEMA staged to come into the state prior to landfall. However, the president can’t simply order the national guard into a state, the governor has to request/allow the aid.

The governors of the neighboring states requested federal help prior to the storm but Blanco said LA would handle it.

The president came down after the storm and specifically asked Blanco for permission. She resisted until the state granted the cleanup/recovery oversight contract to the company her husband was involved with. Once that was done, and FEMA had to abide by that contract, she “allowed “ federal help. 3 days after the storm.

Looking at the ESPN list, it shows 60 transfer prospects, by my count 50 of those have declared their destination schools. Of those 50, 36 are moving to SEC schools.

That speaks to the quality of SEC baseball and just how hard the league is.
I agree. I knew of a couple's in law school. They were married and both in school. During the stress of the first semester the wife announced that she wanted a divorce because she was a lesbian (back before that was celebrated). The husband said he was actually a lesbian woman trapped in a man’s body.

He wanted to get the sex change operation but had to live as a woman for an entire year before the psychs would agree. He returned to school as a trans and tried going in the women’s bathroom, they ran him out. When he went in the men’s room, they ran it out as well. From that point on he had a key to the chancellor’s private bathroom.

What I never understood is if you are a lesbian woman then you love other women. So, it seems to me you would want to be “trapped” in a man’s body so that you could love all the women you want without any issues.

What am I missing?
Where was your dad living at the time of his death, and where is the property? In Louisiana, if dad inherited the property and did not have a will, the property does not go to stepmom.

As another poster said, make sure that a responsible person has a valid power of attorney for Grandma. Also, if Grandma owns a home or has investments, make sure someone ( not MiL) has the ability to get information about and access the accounts and is on the deed to the house. Make sure Grandma has a will so that she can direct where her property goes.

I’m not a doctor but have an interesting story that I would like to pose to the docs.

Years ago I worked with medical supplies. A regular customer, guy, would come in every month to get a large oxygen bottle. He said he suffered from debilitating migraines about 20 days a month and the only thing that gave him any relief was using an oxygen mask.

He had been dealing with this for years.

After a few months, he brought back his oxygen bottle and did not ask for a refill. He had been taking super high amounts of vitamin C and did not have any more migraine symptoms.

Does that sound legit to the docs of the OT?
You are an idiot. I have someone very close to me that has Tourette’s but thankfully they do not have Coprolalia, which, as someone else posted, is the form of Tourette’s characterized by verbal outbursts of cuss words.

Apparently, only about 1% of Tourette’s patients truly have Coprolalia.

Interesting fact, according to the neurologist, 99% of boys who have Tourette’s exhibit symptoms but only 1% of girls with the disorder show any symptoms.
Great to have you back where you belong Cheer. Glad you are feeling better.

Thanks to you and all the other posters who do BPB. I can’t watch many games and this is the best way for me to keep up.

Tigercoop. Thanks for the BPB. I know it’s not easy but it is appreciated.
I knew a guy years who had a good friend who got a pilots license flying float planes. Not long after getting licensed, the friend was approached by some people with a job offer.

“ Go to ______ Bayou and you will find a plane ready to fly. There will be a map in the plane (pre GPS) which will tell you where to go. Fly there, tie up the plane and take the waiting car into town and spend the night. Next evening fly back to _____ Bayou and tie up the plane ready. There will be another car waiting for you. The car, and everything in it are you're to keep.”
The guy did the job, flew somewhere in Mexico, came back and drove off. Inside the car was a briefcase with $2 million. The guy lived quietly and never worked again.

Thanks. I had not seen the update.
