It’s not a pit bull idiot. It’s a bull terrier…..idiot. Try not commenting on posts you obviously don’t know jack shite about.

Maybe the owner chained it there in hopes it'd be rescued. Or maybe the owner was just cruel. Pets are supposed to be family.

You’re a fricking idiot.
Nothing and I’m mean nothing means you leave an animal tied up like this.
Only thing like this that happens is if you have a large place with lots of animals and you can’t take them with you.
At that point you try to get them out of there but in the end you open all gates and knock down fences if need be so they can get to higher ground.
Yeah man, I'm the crazy one. Most people literally think this person should be tracked down hung in the streets with mob justice and not a single damn one of you know what really happened. You are running purely on emotions. You saw a puppy in a video and got all up in your feels and then your first thought is "someone needs to die." Grow up.

Give the fricking dog to the 1000 other people in the line behind you. Let it run free or shoot the motherfricker.
You don’t tie it to the fence
Give me one situation where you leave your dog tied to a fence in that situation.

Tracked down and hung is too much work. Tracked down and a quick bullet to the head would be much more efficient.

What an absolute awful thing to do.

Apparently the dog was not tied up. The story that I saw says that the dog was loose and a passerby put him in the fence and then called the cops. Apparently the dog has been reclaimed by its owner.

You're fricking idiotic logic is no different than "oh well that mom had a rough day at work so it's no big deal that they left their kid to die in a hot car".

But I was right all along while you psychos wanted some poor guy who lost his dog in the middle of a natural disaster to be hunted down and killed like a rabid dog.

That doesn't change the fact that your logic was fricking stupid. I'm fully aware of the story's ending....so I'm not sure why you're lumping me in with everyone else.
Probably has to do with that shite logic you're having this morning.

Yea saw that too last night. Returned to owner per a Fb post on this situation.

My logic all along is that there was a perfectly reasonable explanation as to how this could have happened and maybe we shouldnt drag our bleeding vaginas all over a message board because we saw a sad video of a puppy and then demand mob justice for some stranger in Florida who's dealing with evacuations and the prospect of losing everything. But you're right, it's my logic that's idiotic.

man if there's something I've learned over the past decade is don't try and talk logic to people who are "pet-sessed" . Dogs are almost at the level of false idol with a shocking number of people. Just smile and let them rant.

but the "perfectly reasonable explanation" you initially offered is dogshit and was deservingly called out. The ended to the story is not relevant.

correct. It is idiotic.
Had you just posted "hopefully there is a perfectly reasonable explanation for this" instead of "someone left the dog because they were stressed because of evacuating", then you wouldn't have been called out. Its Florida.....hurricane evacuations are part of life there.
As I said earlier.....having a bad day at work doesn't excuse leaving a baby to die in a hot car. But keep doubling down and looking at the ending story as a "AH HA I WAS RIGHT!!!!" moment.
