Apparently, over 6 inches of rain have fallen in parts of New Orleans. The pumps can't handle that much in a short period.

We are truly frikt when Invest 92 dumps this weekend. I should have added pontoons under my house.

When the water spout comes on land it becomes a Tornado and there are a lot of water spouts morphing into tornadoes right now.
I know that , all I've seen is pics and videos of waterspouts and haven't heard any reports of damage yet. Have you?

Isn't that old system one of the biggest in the world? I seem to remember most of the past issues being personnel-related (neglected maintenance, sleeping on the job, long lunches, just not turning them on)

My friends fence in lake view got destroyed and wood flew into her AC unit and blasted it.

I’m stuck at the intersection of camp and Melpomene. Been here for about an hour and 15 mins. Highest ground I could find. There are 6 cars I can see that are completely fricked. These idiots keep trying to drive through this water that is above their head lights. Looks like I’ll be here a while
