NWS Birmingham didn't even bother with the word "possible" in the enhanced region

Severe thunderstorms are likely Sunday afternoon into Sunday evening. The main threat will be for damaging winds up to 60-70mph, large hail up to tennis ball size, and a few tornadoes.
1-3 inches of rain will also be possible which could lead to flash flooding.

the weather's starting to come together
some thunderstorms by Shreveport and by the TX/LA border by Jasper... and a potent bit of thunderstorm in east Arkansas
nothing severe at the moment... hopefully it stays that way for tonight and tomorrow before the heavy stuff is supposed to come on Sunday

Weird how the frequency of tornadoes has increased in Dixie Alley over the last decade or so. Tornadoes were synonymous with the Midwest for years now it’s more prevalent in the southern part of the country.
Not true at all. You have a bias because when it is the climatological time of year for tornadoes to happen in this region, you deal with them thus they seem to be prevalent. When the pattern shifts to another region, you don't deal with them, thus it seems the rate is not as high...that is to those who don't follow things like this, which I assume you don't to make the post you did in the first place.

My sister is on the northern edge of the enhanced risk. My stepdads kids and grandkids are in Metter, GA so they’re in the path. We’ll just have to wait and see

Looks like I-12 is the southern edge of the enhanced region.

Do you realize what a dick you sound like? Multiple people died last Sunday. Sorry a tornado didn’t hit your house. They can’t pinpoint exactly where these systems will develop the strongest storms but don’t pretend they were way off.
